Yea I saw that but seemed kinda weird they they were actually selling subscriptions to "free" podcast being that they don't own the content.

How does site/app like stitcher make money as a podcast directory? Seems like ads would be the obvious answer. However I haven't seen a single ad.

Check you .htaccess file if you're on an apache server. I've seen hacker put redirect rules in there for when coming from google it'll take people to a different site.

Other than ad how would you all monetize a podcast sites similar to podchaser? I was initially thinking it would be a good idea to charge podcasters for premium feature but sites like this seems to offer everything for free.
