About using quotes to search for a sentence in G, if the provider spun the article at sentence level, would you still be able to uniquely identify it?

Say you just bought 100 unique articles from a freelancer for $5 each. The freelancer claimed that they are unique and self written, but how would you know he hasn't taken articles off the internet, spun them and then later claim them as unique?

I was about to ask the same thing, 'how is the OP going to sell an idea without revealing the idea itself?'

I can say I have observed the same as well. Any sites which I build links too will drop in the rankings. Only the keywords which links are built for will drop. Google has definitely made it way harder for blackhatters.

Additional note: This happened to my sites since 3 weeks ago and adding more original content or building new links didn't help. They made things worse. Sites are 4-5 months old, some .net, somg blogger blogs, one .info. All dropped in rankings.

I can confirm that linkbuilding has brought most of my sites from page 1 to pages 70 and above. Some not even appearing in the top 1000 for keywords where links are built. Take note, only keywords I built links for have dropped in rankings. I tried various methods including placing buffers...

If Google is penalizing websites with low quality, non unique, scraped content from RSS feeds, then shouldn't Google also penalize news aggregator sites like popurls.com or Google news itself as they are all getting their content from RSS feeds? Or is there something else I didn't get right?

With Panda, Google is penalizing websites with low quality unoriginal scraped content. These content are either spinned or taken directly from feeds. If autoblogs are being penalized for scraping from feeds, shouldn't popurl.com or google news be penalized too?
