GA is a complex beast. The numbers it gives cannot be taken as black and white. It is the context which is more important to consider.
When it comes to users, the GA data is skewed because of the way it measures a new visitor vs a repeat visitor. It assigns a cookie id on the device of the user...
One can fool some people some of the time. One can fool all people some of the time. But one cannot fool all the people all the time.
What you are stating is like building a palace in quicksand. One day Google, the monstrous machine learning juggernaut will catch up and decimate such sites.
Back in the day, when people were spamming the PageRank algorithm (poor G was way too transparent then with its users), there was a concept called Pagerank Threshold.
Your page quality had to be above a certain threshold level to be admitted into the Google index. Maybe they are bringing it...
All these domains are expired/dropped then? I am asking about domains that have not expired yet, that have still a few months life left in them. That is the traffic stats I am referring to, in terms of keywords pulling in the traffic.
If you click my profile and look at the quality of my...
Yes, you are right. That is the big steal that Google does. It can get away with it. They show the answers on the SERPs and visitors do not click through to the site. G is capitalizing on your hard work. Can't do much about it :(
Have you checked your robots.txt file just to make sure you have not blocked off anything? If you are using WP, perhaps by mistake, have you checked the box that says disallow/discourage search engines under Genera Settings > Reading?
Have you checked if your home page url(example is your root url site.com) resolves to just one URL?
I am assuming you have a security certificate on your site.
http://site.com resolves to https://site.com
http://www.site.com resolves to https://site.com
https://www.site.com resolves to...
Using schemas is good and you have done the right thing. The problem is having an affiliate link in the answer.
Google uses schema markup to show appropriate answers in the Knowledge Graph panel. It will pick only good quality answers that provide value to the user's question. You are making...
You are better off either removing an expired product page (no point retaining a sold product page) or marking it as noindex nofollow using meta robots tag. More than worrying about Google crawling such pages and retaining them in the index, you should be really concerned about the implications...
Hi,
I have been to your site and seen the domains with all their characteristics.
You did mention in your write up that you can use ahrefs to validate the traffic a domain is receiving and the keywords it ranks for. Unfortunately, I don't have access to ahrefs paid version
a)Is it possible to...
Hi pathvinod,
I understand your situation now. You are in a tight spot. As pointed out above, you have done tremendous work with almost free resources. Kudos to you!
At the end of the day, in the internet marketing game, there are too many variables. The big one is Google and its ranking...
Hi, it also depends on the average commission you get per sale. That can make a huge difference to your bottom line, your revenue.
It's true the visitors can go from your affiliate site to Amazon and buy any product. You can't control their behavior. But you can keep track of whether they buy...
