If your site is new then watch out for Google to 'sandbox' your site. I was sitting near the top of the search results for my keywords and then after 2 weeks my site was buried back many pages :(. Nothing I can really do except to wait for Google to take me out of the 'sandbox'.

I use 'Free Monitor for Google' check cleverstat.cOm. It will list where your website is positioned in Google with regards to whatever your choice of keywords. Oh and it's free.

Is there a particular reason why people are paying to have their accounts verified? I verified mine this morning by creating a K7 phone number based in the US. I then retrieved the code from voicemessage. Btw I'm an Australian, but signed up to AC as an American citizen. Total cost=free :)
