A place to get Valuations?

Hi Guys,

I tried to post a query to find out how much an Expired Tumblr was worth and included the metrics but it was deleted. The reason was based on a thread about people trying to sell things slyly when asking for "How much is this?"

I think it would be a good idea to have a place for BHW members to get valuations of things, even if just a general estimate. This would help newbies understand the market rate for various things and have various other benefits.

Let me know your thoughts!

There's something like that here for websites in the site flipping section, but an expired Tumblr... Probably not.

People are going to abuse it by announcing what they have for sale and users will PM them offers to get around our marketplace.

This section would be too easy to abuse and hard to moderate.

If you want to sell something create a marketplace thread and leave a note you're willing to accept offers.

I do want to sell some, but want to know the value to better know what to expect. I will check out the Domain section as @HelloInsomnia mentioned and try to work it out I guess.

I thought that although they are "just" Web 2.0s, some have quite decent/rare metrics but currently I have no idea how much they are worth lmao.
