Ok it's about time I provided my review. (Sorry for the delay Vinku)
I received a review copy from @vinku and I have spent quite some time reading through the book to digest the information. There is a lot of stuff to take in with this book but it is extremely useful information.
The book is very readable even though it is written by a non native speaker, I could understand it without any problems.
The content:
The book goes through various stages beginning with the basics of optimising your apps, something you should already know if you are into apps but there are tips that you may not have thought about. There were certainly a number of steps that I either hadn't considered or didn't consider important. Vinku explains the reason why all of these steps are important in the book.
The rest of the book focuses on greyhat and blackhat methods to promote your apps, receive positive reviews & obtain downloads for your new apps. Some of the ideas are extremely blackhat and not for the faint hearted but if you are looking for some real dark techniques to promote your apps then you will find some very valuable information in this book. There are plenty of methods for people who want to promote their apps without the risks as well.
In summary, a very interesting read and an extremely useful insight into the whole process of App Store marketing.
If you are into apps and are looking for methods to promote them then you need this book. There really is something in it for every type of marketer.

@vinku was kind enough to give me a discounted review copy of his ebook, and WOW that guy wasn't kidding when he used "greyhat and blackhat methods" in the title.
The ebook is easy to understand despite being not written by native English, but it isn't step by step kind of ebook so you need to be a developer or have the budget to hire one if you are looking to implement the methods in this ebook so don't buy it thinking this is the only investment required.
White Hat developers:
I would recommend this even if you are looking to make money on Google play the whitehat way because you are going to understand how google play algorithm works, how to pick a winning niche, how to optimize your app listing (there is few tips you probably didn't know), how to not waste your money by advertising your app using the wrong techniques or networks and what not to do if you want to keep your google developer account from getting banned.
Gray/Black Hat developers:
This ebook is packed with no fluff, actionable, to the point information on how to promote your apps without a huge budget and make money.
Conclusion:
This ebook is a steal at this price and I would recommend you to buy it now and invest in your business as an app developer. Thanks Vinku for giving me a chance to review your ebook.

Will probably buy it, i have already a few apps in the app store (worked hard on them focus on quality) but all together have less then 1k downloads and made nothing obviously.
Seems like a great buy for me. A pity cant start a private conversation with you.

Just read the book, lots really useful info I'd never think about. Not really targeted for white hats but the ASO sections are pretty useful for them.
It takes more of a churn and burn approach, although some of the topics can be applied for long term, branded type apps.
If you're looking more on how to make quick money making android apps instead of building up one sole app and hoping you can make it extremely popular and profitable, then this book is for you.
I'd definitely recommend it, especially right now while it's $29 (if the promo code hasn't been fully used)
