who told you to get 1and1 hosting ? You better go with poweruphosting or some other host.

I just moved 7 sites from 1and1. Went to Dreamhost which is a little bit more expensive, but the service is so much better.
1&1 started making a lot of unauthorized charges to my card (for services I didn't need, like expensive certificates and PHP support for domains I didn't even use. Downtime was really poor.
I'd suggest moving from them as soon as possible! It's a hassle, but I can't afford to have my sites go down and have almost no customer service options.

1and1... So many horror stories. I've tried to buy couple of domains from them at some point. I've said I'll never buy anything from that company. It's like they want to piss off clients on purpose.
Check out BHW marketplace (hosting section), lot's of good providers there for sure, migration is free of charge as well with some of them so you don't have to go trough all of the stress with that as well.

This is a great tip! If you can get a hosting provider to migrate your sites for you, it can save valuable time and the nightmare scenario of crashing a site accidentally.

1 and 1 is about the worst host for anyone... they will make you pull all your hair out.
Do what @Nut-Nights says and move to poweruphosting.
They are a seller here and I have both reseller and shared hosting with them and they are solid.

Check out the offer section. Also check one of the other threads here about not going with hostgator. There is a big list of companies in there that are owned by EIG that I would stay away from as well.

I dumped 1and1 years ago. The only web host I've run into that use their ridiculous contractual commitments. I avoided running into the problem, but I've read so many stories about people having bill collectors sent after them for not cancelling properly. Absolutely absurd. I've had good experiences with Hawk Host.
