I would be cautious about cryptocurrency forecasts. I do hold some ETH, and I think it's one of the more solid currencies, but the market is so volatile that you simply can't put all your eggs in one basket. Not even in the BTC basket. I usually don't pay attention to any internet hype about a currency, because there's so great a chance that it might just be a pump & dump scheme.

tbh eth is a sure thing, but right now it's not moving at all. . .

LTC is wild now because of segwit. I think it'll go up to $20 (no lol, but definitely at least $14.) It's currently at 11.60. I'm buying LTC now and dumping it at 14+.

That's probably a good call. My strategy with a lot of smaller altcoins is less active. I like to buy when low & either exchange into different coins when the rate is good, or sell at spikes. But you never know what happens...for a while DOGE was the top dog (no pun intended) but it's been sad lately except for some spikes.
 
You guys think gpu minning would be good to invest? If ETH switches to PoS, would other currencies be good alternative?

if anyone is holding pivx, time to sell. . . all alts going down because of btc going full segwitt.

I sold my ltc at a loss and xrp too. BTC is going to go really high and everything else will drop unless it's also getting segwitt activation.

I agree with this. Right now I'm about 85% BTC.

HOWEVER! At a time when all the altcoins are dropping rapidly, now might be the time to buy some of the good ones. I am starting to get a bad taste in my mouth because there are so many crappy alts out there, but I suspect a few of them with real technological benefits (Golem stands out as one) will possibly be a good speculation to scoop up during a dip. Those are what I've been dedicating my other 15% towards.

Where are you getting that btc is going full segwit? Isnt it like 95% needed for that? and now with the ASICBOOST stuff coming out it sounds like a lot of miners will never go segwit as their hardware will be no good.

LTC segwit signalling is close to its target though. Im surprised you sold them, im preferring to wait and see on that.

Bullshit

Bitcoin is loosing market share and will continue loose it also have a bad reputation as scammy to non tech folks

Eth is a long term investment. It will be used in the Internet of Things. If you regret not investing in Bitcoin back then, you will definitely regret not investing in Etherum.

what provider do you use to buy/make exchanges ? :) I need a safe one to start with :)
