[Quick Case Study] - Ranking Web 2.0 Sites using GSA and 301 Shorteners in 2017

Good luck! I will definitely follow this!

Good luck. Looking forward to the results.

I am doing something very similar.

Making web 2.0>generating 301 redirects>generating 100-200 backlinks to 301's.

Been doing this for around a month or so.

No positive or negative effects as of yet.

Nb keyword difficulty around 20-30 in research and around 90-320 sv.

This is a very quick process. If it doesn't produce $$ it is a lesson learnt and a bit more experience under my belt :-)

I will try a new web 2.0 today with similar sv, but higher value products and add in more lsi to main web 2.0 and an old school link wheel ;-)

PJ

Thanks. The blast is done, I decided to do 20k comments in order to get faster results.

A bit strange month and no results/change.

Did you do other kinds of links or just the shorteners?

You just remainded me that I should take a look at keyword density. I usually use 9 mention of keywords in a 400-500 word article but this could be too high sometimes ... have to analyse. But sometimes works.

What sort of success with indexing are you seeing ?

I'd have thought after a month there'd be some type of effect.

you should make more links to the 301 .... spam them

most of the web 2.0 which are ranking has expired domain 301 to them..
looking forward to see your results

Nice of you to open such threads, unfortunately 90% of all ''ranking case studies'' on BHW are never finished. They open threads start posting stuff and after few weeks the threads is dead and when someone comes after month or two and bumb the thread by asking ''any updates'' the OP is hiding like a mice even thought you can see him posting around the forums. Hope you are not one of these guys. Good luck.

It is easy to update a thread. It can work or not if not 301 direct links or something else could.

Curent stats: #21 (was #22 but that is likely just dancing)

when the kw diffiicult is so low you can even use social signals to rank that site without a risk of a penalty..

No, because I use articles on T2 not comments.

No movements so far, but it is too early.

Didnt try social signals, I mean i never saw something is ranked due to FB likes.

It can be ranked in multiple ways I am testing this one.

waiting to see results, thanks for sharing

So far no change at all - it is still dancing on the third page. It is 5-th day after the blast.

It seems it takes longer than before to rank a web 2.0 site.

But I got today a new domain, added a video from youtube, created video sitemap, submited to google and after 10 minutes I am already on the first page for an easy kw and the site is indexed.
