Yes, to know who you're working with many times can prevent being scammed. Don't make purchases from members who have no transaction or feedback history and be sure your payment method can be reversed should the seller not deliver what you purchased.

Do your due diligence before getting into business with any unknown person and throwing away your hard earned money.

If that person is member over here , you can start a Shitlist thread against him . Contact a MOD send him all the proofs like chat logs , payment proof etc and they will take care of that.

Read everythink , dont think anythink legit untill you got what you wanted and it works properly.
Also keep a copy of the item/product your buying
Keep any email sent from eachover .
Only pay with a credit card or paypal or a payment system that guartentees you money back if you fill you been scamed .
Always make sure the website your useing to pay is padlocked signed and url looks legit.
Always use goolge to cross refrence any past history on the person website or there name .
Never send cash in the post.
Never deal with cash .
Payment asked via bitcoin can
Ring bells.(must fully investigate))
Always ask deep question and make sure your very happy to part your cash.

If it sounds to good to be true it usally not true.( this ant 100% accurate, but scammers are very clever and making people beleve the product / service is legit and fantastic))
Reviews on a website, dont always be falled that a item or servise is as good as written on a review or comment , scammers can also get them created))
A well established or branded website is more likely to have proper products and services , and not a scam, all business should have there full company name and addresss somewere written on there website ,cross matching that info on google can help.
Example.
I was scamed recently , i paid for cheap vape what seemed fantastic deal , there business looks grate, there website was made brilliant there branding on all there boxs and images and video ,and comments looked fantastic , i ordered over £100 of vape bottles all diffrent flavours , i only used paypal as i new paypal has a safty net just encase , 2 week never heard anythink and my order status was pending , that rang bells in my mind ,then i investurgate further try phone them , phone was dead , then i look there address up deeply, was a fake building , contacted paypal , show all my evidence , 8 days late cash pay back .
So sometimes it happends even to those that no the score , lucky enough i pressed paypal and not any other payment option .
