Using articles from expired websites on wayback machine

Hello,

I was wondering if I could use (copy+paste) articles from an expired website that was backed up by WayBack Machine.

Or will Google see it as copied content?

Just check to make sure the content is not already indexed elsewhere....search the content manually.....if not then its good to use.

you can use plagiarism tool to check the article. if it is unique then it is not already posted or indexed.

You can search in google: " 1 or 2 sentences from the article" (with quotes)
But using CopyScape is best advised.

I have BCS and seemed to use it a bit at the start but don't bother with it now as such.

It works but depending on what it is you use them for the information may not be up to date! Sure if you are into viagra, waightloss and all this stuff it's not a problem to do so and it works.

I got hit by multiple DMCA notices doing this lol, you would think they wouldn't give a damn about unindexed content lol. Prob a very rare occasion though.

Constantly using content Wayback machine. Nothing bad ever happened. Its just quite hard to find something decent that wasn't already tooken by somebody.

Don't forget to track the links that are pointing to the article and are currently 404, you can ask the sites to link to your site.

Even if you do find some content you like, you're in breach of copyright if you publish it. Just because it's on old article, doesn't mean you own it.. even if you do own the domain now. One exception to this might be if you purchased the domain from the owner of the original content, and they passed on rights to the content.
