This is irrelevant, just because tools don't show anything doesn't mean there wasn't an update directed at blackhats.

In which case it is pointless for you to wonder because it is such a small sample size that it isn't an important algo change unless it hit you specifically. That isn't an update. Anything big enough to be considered an update would at least tickle the SERP monitoring tools. Just because a few blackhatters got sloppy doesn't mean it is an update.

Are the people with nuked PBN's any of those who said "naaah I use G all the time and nothing happens" ? Did they use BST services who can't afford to pay for a U$ 2 a year private email and use Gmail?

Google dance nowadays is all about recent posts plus KW research. After 72 things go back to normal if your competitors are not link building. Do people are looking for 50 shades of grey? Logan? Champions League? Dig a KW related to yours and be happy. Sad to see Google playing so dirty or they even don't care anymore.

By the way. I'm using the worse BH techniques for Xanax in Brazil and Canada. I'm having #1 #3 and #4 easily. Two years ago it would be impossible to outrank Pfizer. Yep... That's Google giving a shit for no Adsense programs and KW related.

Buddy that's like the 3rd most common niche in the BHW world. I think there was even a thread about it recently. I wish I was competing in that and on the first page for it cause then I wouldn't be on the forum arguing about updates, at that point I would be quite well versed in SEO to keep track of things myself. Also I would be rich so I would be out buying up shit.

Yup, I am having some significant ranking drops these days.

CRAZY drop here as well... Spanish site, 3 years ranking well. My two main pages (home and a dedicated topic one) have fallen dramatically (+100 spots) on most important KWs BUT they still rank decent (first page) for other terms.

Any idea what this may be? Over optimization for such KWs? It's the only thing I can think of as they've disappeard for some terms but still rank for other related kws.

Two of my sites got tanked yesterday. Same issue as others, still in index. I highly suspect that it was due to anchor text over optimization.

Anyway, I have removed all exact match anchors from my PBNs, cleaned up my backlink profile, disavowed some links and now I am waiting for results.

Isn't it a bit suspicious if multiple anchors suddenly change? I mean how often do anchors change?
If it's really a targeted action, google would have a db with a ton of infos on the targeted sites, so you would disclose even more of your network.

Yea I quit using G docs in 2012 after they deindexed a lot of my network. Now just manage PBN offline excel sheet. Also hell, just use Yahoo... I use gmail for some stuff but I have a yahoo account for all my hosting etc.
