Perhaps there's a new Penguin update and it has stricter requirements? lol, I don't know.

I guess the best we can do now is wait... if not, just move on to plan B.

Yea or they just tweaked it to go after something that everyone in this thread is doing... because everyone I've talked to on Skype didn't notice anything

I doubt it has to do with PBN linking. I've seen competitors whom did hell lots of PBN backlinks and they're still ranking fine.

I suspect it has to do with anchor name diversity, and content.
Got -50 from 1 position in image search for 1 word keyword.... i also suspect anchor diversity here.. competitors uses pbns.. so....

i usually dont track keywords
i track traffic
and last night traffic went to the roof
today im at +37.8 % more traffic than yesterday same hour

Also experienced the dance. The site is a month old with no backlinks.

Guys... to answer the OP, he can check here: http://mozcast.com/ and see if any given day saw a lot of SERP changes. There are several other similar sites, and from what I've seen there is no major updates or changes.

Do you guys still see dance? Today I checked serps several times a day and often see different datasets, so dance is still here. Hows things on your side?

Weirdest shit happened. Last night it seemed that one of my sites was deindexed. This morning it's indexed again and some of the rankings are slowly coming back.

This is irrelevant, just because tools don't show anything doesn't mean there wasn't an update directed at blackhats.

Probably because they're testing the roll out and rolled it back for now.

My main keyword went from 36 to 60+ and just today went all the way up to 28 (Probably because I got some really nice links now haha)
So yeah, big change today here as well.

Two of my sites got tanked yesterday. Same issue as others, still in index. I highly suspect that it was due to anchor text over optimization.

Anyway, I have removed all exact match anchors from my PBNs, cleaned up my backlink profile, disavowed some links and now I am waiting for results.

I am surprised nobody is talking about this? .. This has been happening in a lot of amazon/cpa niches past few weeks. AND FOR TOUGH AF KEYWORDS!

That doesn't necessarily mean anything. Gxxgle likes fresh content, and if that article was already ranking partially the author could have simply changed the pubDate to be more current. Nothing killer, but has given me minor upticks in the past

SemRush was reporting high index volatility yesteray. I've seen some pretty significant shifts in keywords as well, luckily for me some were actually quite favorable—though some keywords did drop off the face of the Earth.
