Z in domain

I am looking at buying a domain name. The options are slim and I found one that I like, but the plural version is takes.

Example: bestcardeals.com

What so you think/Do you have any experience using z instead of s?

Example: bestcardealz.com.

For SEO purposes I doubt there will be a significant impact but for credibility purposes there may be.

When I see a site that pluralized the domain name using a Z I just click out of it.

Thanks. I used to think it was corny too, but I've seen it so many times I guess I don't really think about it anymore.

If you are building a brand then no....if you are just ranking some micro site with like 5 pages....then go for it....but then consider the .net or .org or add your own brand to the keyword instead of a z.

For SEO it doesnt matter. For building a brand with "Z" it's better to own correct version of domain. to redirect a typo traffic to your main site.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I get scared sites like that are just trying to steal my keyword. Same with keyword difficulty tools. For all I know they're logging every keyword entered.

That's not a bad idea, start a keyword research tool then start selling keywords.

I highly doubt it as there is not one keywords that doesn't exist already, so it would mean the guy has to research tens of (hundreds of)thousands of keywords.

That said... an EMD has value to customers. So if its not a serious product, something like gummybearz.com then it might be a good name. Just go off how it sounds to you.

I should edit, but im not going to. Having a keyword in your domain is obviously a good idea.
I meant exact keyword domains meaning keywordkeywordkeyword.com is no longer given any more importance than brandkeyword.com

It's important that people will spontaneously link to your site, so the Z has to do with credibility. Even if no one links to you, it's important that the site looks like someone would.

I'm sure you know that warez is the Z version for softwares....pirated ones. Also crackz and shit like that all mean piracy stuff so nobody influential is gonna link to your site unless the Z is legit.

PS. Unless you're a rapper or gangsta site or something like that. Then you can probably use stuff like jay-z or ez-E n so on
