So I think I f@cked up.

Here's the story. I read BHW like crazy. Then I did research and found my first keyword. Had about 3,000 searches per month with almost zero competition, none were targeting that KW, just old sites that mentioned the KW.

So I set up a nice site and within 24 hours of buying my domain I was ranked #26 on google. Great.

About a week went by and I started to get excited and wonder how I could get ranked higher. Only 3000 searches per month and ranked #26 , not much traffic was coming in, almost none.

Here's where I think I screwed up. I purchased a small link package from the market place, thinking that it could help raise my rank. The day after my link package was finished, my site is gone from the top 300. On Bing and Yahoo I'm now top 5 for my KW.

Do you think google kicked me out of rank? Since I had almost no traffic and all the sudden thousands of links are all over the web to my site.

If you think this is whats wrong, is there any way to repair it? Maybe deleting the links? (I assume google would recognize that also).

You have said you have read the BHW like crazy. You must be aware of that what you are doing. If you tried to shoot many links in a day, then you are in danger. It recommended concentrate quality rather than quantity of the links. We can't exactly say you are out the Google SERP. It might be Google dance. Wait for a couple of week more. Still, you have the possibility to overcome by Disavowing the low-quality links.

Even if you lost this site entirely, Just take it as an experience.

Thanks for the advice and greif. I need it. It's totally my fault, I should of thought about it.

What do you mean about disavowing the links? The seller is here on BHW and I spoke to them. They say no other customers have this issue.

Completely sounds like a dance. And remember if you messed up you can always do a = Reconsideration Requests
Can you please clarify what a reconsideration request is?

Thousands of links directly to the money site, or tiered link building? If directly to the site, then it sounds risky at least. Was it drip fed? Anchor text ratios? Metrics of the linking domains? Spam check? etc. There are many variables. Let's hope for the best. Wait a week or so and you'll find out. But, if you ask me I'd have gone for a slow and steady approach.

Dance is when you see it go from page to page...

But, when it's suddenly gone from ALL major search engines, it's a dance alright... it's just that you're not invited.
It's top 5 in Bing and Yahoo now, but gone from top 300 on the goog.

Of course they'd say "no other customer have this issue". It's one way of saying "there's no way in the world I'm giving you a refund". :P

Before you start slitting your wrist and panicking
please go ahead and check if you are indexed first
check WMT and pray nothing pops up under manual action for the next week.
If it's all good
then you're fine, its just doing the Google dance.

What anchor texts did you use? Is your site heavily optimized for these keywords? What is the domain age? Domain authority of the site previous to backlinks?

Throw us a bone here to help us help you... unless you prefer we just keep saying "it's a Google dance".

So it's tiered. Don't worry so much about yahoo and bing. Focus on google. The reconsideration request is the last resort to contact google and say please remove these shitty links.

Dude, quality not quantity! Remember that in your link profile
