For $30 I would hire a VA to message site operators asking to advertise on their sites

I'd negotiate dirt cheap rates and I would ask to pay at the end of the 30 day period

I would advertise an ebook product

The key here is to price the book in such a way you'll come out ahead regardless of the time lag
