[Journey] $100k in 2017 from scratch with Traffic Arbitrage!

Good luck with your journey

Are you using paid traffic after you have seasoned the website with good metrics, is that the idea for the arb method?

Are all articles unique?

Thanks

UPDATE:

What I have done so far:
1. Upload more articles to the website (50+).
2. Made a list of posible partners to monetise my website with.
3. Grow my instagram to 2000+ followers and keep adding content everyday.
4. Also adding content to FB (54 Fans) and adding myself to some groups in the niche, there are not too many though.
5. Made a big list of websites in the niche to gather content and ideas, and also to being able to post comments later.
I also liked their fan pages to interact with their followers and get some traction to mine.

So far most of the work is done, I still have about 2 more weeks of seasoning the website, the
social media and adding content so it will be ready to apply for adnetworks. Hopefully the Alexa and
Similarweb will be done by then and showing some good numbers to it.
The website is already having about 35+ visits a day so I think is going in the right direction.

Cheers!

keep updating plz

Hello Every one...

UPDATE:

There is not much to add since I have only been working on content and social media. Still waiting for the finish results on Alexa and Similarweb. Here is the progress on Alexa, for Similarweb I have to wait for the first days of the month.

What I have done so far:
1. Upload more articles to the website (70+).
2. Chose partners to start monetizing my website with.
3. Grew my Instagram to 4500+ followers and keep adding content everyday.
4. Also keep adding content to FB (69 Fans) I promoted a bit on few groups and getting consistent 25+ visits a day.
5. Add Google+, Stumble Upon and Tumblr accounts and sharing the content on them .

Next week I will be applying to some networks and hopefully getting approved soon.
I will be also planning the strategy for the content to be promoted to get the traffic to the website.

Yes that is the Idea, and website content is original as the plan is to get some search/organic traffic on the long term.

I've recently dove head first into creating my own traffic arbitrage website. I bought a domain name, hosting, a WordPress theme, have created about 24 articles, and have gotten accepted by content.ad as a publisher. The issue I'm having is getting approval from Google Adsense. I would love the chance to chat with you about all of this if I could get some advice. Thanks again for the updates.

No need for Adsense, you can apply for other adnetworks to monetize your traffic. You could always buy an Adsense account, but ContentAd is a good start though!

@chanchogc What stage will it be primed for paid traffic, do you want until in top 1m alexa or is there additional steps, thanks
The service is to get the website on 500k or lower for alexa rank. That should be enough to show the adnetwork that you have some traffic in it...

I am trying to do the exact same thing, but of course im not as experienced as you OP. Looks really good so far. If you have some time and can spare some tips, I can send you my skype. Thanks

Do you also do traffic arbitrage for Blackhat niches??

Going to try this out soon aswell.

Wish you all the best mate :)

Btw what was the reason they gave you for the ban and can you PM me what you did wrong back than?

Awesome.e journey so far. Thanks for sharing.

Can you share what you're actually writing about? Is it a niche or just general articles that will drive traffic? Are you writing all of them yourself or have you outsources?

I'm also a little lost in the what traffic arbitrage is. If I u derstand correctly, you syndicating your content on ad networks for a fee?

Hello, Thanks for the comments and support!

I am not that experience at all, but I have dedicated time and money to this venue. I was always distracted by all the things you could do online to make money and never got my attention to one thing and get good at it. It is easy to get caught up with thought that making money online is very easy when you see someone else doing it, so a good tip I can give you is to focus in one thing you think you could be good and start working on that. Test, learn, optimize, test, learn more, optimize more and so on until it works for you.

Keep the updates coming. How fast is alexa climbing each day? Is that safe
It is pretty fast but I understand that it takes more time for new websites as they do not have any data. But you can spect 1 month for the service I bought to reach where it has to be.

I do not know what you mean by that, but I guess not as the arbitrage I perform is to a content website with advertising in it.

Thanks, basically invalid traffic. Same as google they do not disclose the exact reason but for the most part is fraudulent traffic. It is a pain in the neck because most of the time you do not know the source of the traffic, but that is something you learn down the road. I learnt it the hard way when I lost about $50k last year. So my suggestion is to go with verified sources, and monitor your traffic closely.

It does not matter what you write about. Your website can be in any niche, so I suggest to at least work on something you are passionate about and do not loose motivation. I do not write content myself, I am a terrible writer so I outsource them. If you can write them, much better since you do not add the expenses and it is more profit.

Thanks for the reply. :)

Which tools/services do you use for this venture?
How do you monitor the traffic?

What I actually meant is will you be considering other ways of monetizing your traffic; like cpa offers, ppi etc

No tools for this, just G analytics. There are some expensive tools that actually some adnetworks use for detecting fraud but it is not feasible for me right now.

Well that is basically Media buying and you are better off sending the traffic to a pre-lander for that specific CPA, CPI offer.

Hello Every one...

UPDATE:
It has been long since last update but I have not started yet as I am still preparing everything for it.
So lets talk about what I have done and what I have left to start making money.

What I have done so far:
1. Upload more articles to the website (90+).
2. I already applied to some adnetworks and I have been accepted to some but waiting on others.
3. Grew my Instagram to 5600+ followers and keep adding content everyday. It is growing steady and hope to grow faster once pass 10k.
4. I have been adding content to FB (99 Fans) Keep promoting on few groups (There are not many) and now getting consistent 40+ visits a day.
5. Now I am preparing graphics and content for traffic campaigns.

Ok, so far I have a deal with an Ad-agency to display their DFP private advertisers plus their Google ADX (Aka Premium Adsense).
Also I have a second option for another google ADX plus their parteners on another Adnetwork. For this I might split inventory so I do not have all
income from one place. I will test as well placing some Amazon products when and where I consider is Ok and see how it goes,
I do not expect to make much with that though. Native ads on place as well, so I might only need some impact ads and something to monetize
traffic drops and bounce rate. But I think I have enough to start and test.

Campaigns takes some time before they are optimized and start delivering good amount of traffic and revenue for a positive ROI.
I hoping to finish all graphics and content for traffic campaigns this week and start them by next week. So Next update will be about this...

Cheers.
