This is actually quite interesting, as instead of going after little guys using software, IG is actually going after popular bot creators. This one left a footprint of some sort almost for sure when it get caught so fast.

Other ones, they should be fine, as long as they don't use word Instagram (and they don't) I doubt that anyone can come near them.

Don't see a reason why not? It it actually safest solution, but 98% of users do not know how to do that, 1.3% knows how to code it but isn't into IM, 0.5% have money to do it but won't, and 0.2% actually own their own private bots.

I think IG is cracking up web base apps so I doubt Mass Planner will be affected by this. All of you who are using Instagress or Influx should try out Mass Planner. They have a 5 days free trial and have more features than any software available in the market. I suggest staying away from web base apps for now if you are going to bot IG.
