You have to pay for Facebook ads. But you also can try this method with free traffic sources.
I see. Is it even worth running a campaign for £20 over the course of 4 days or something? Then try and get free traffic sources?

Otherwise if not, do people recommend any other free traffic sources?

Awesome post.
Quick question.
Will people see your store without promotion?
Example "Fiverr" where people would browse through each listing etc....

No.

You need to either pay for an ad campaign or get traffic other ways. I have posted in two groups so far and got two abandoned orders unfortunately. But at least people are browsing.

I am waiting for your instructions about tax numbers / EIN number for non-US residents...

I am having a bit of an issue. After finally decided to spend an (small) amount on advertising which will get me 1.4k - 6k total reach, I have currently reached 245 people with 42 engagements on my actual post, though, this has only converted to 7 actual site-views.

Any ideas on this? Using more or less the same layout as on first page.

Thanks for this great method, with some twist it can be huge ! Will follow the thread.

Do I need to use 2checkouts to receive payment through credit cards?

HI
Is better to target more countries or 2/3? And what you suggest for the ages?

Thanks

in yr example, you sell the plush toy @0 + $9.9 shipping, how can u earn $9 per sale? since you have to minus the buying cost from aliexpress?

It's basically an example, where the toy costs $0.9 and the profit will be $9, so it's the minus. Again there will be payment processor fee and FX conversion fee (if your outside of the US) when you withdraw the money to the bank.

I was wondering what your guys conversion rate was for traffic that reaches your store. I currently have 92 visitors from facebook and 2 conversions so a conversion rate of 2.2%. Is this good or bad or average? I haven't paid for the FOMO app yet because I only have 2 sales so far but I imagine this would help me convert more people. I'm also still struggling with my FB ads. The carousel ads seem to have the highest CTR for me but are still at like 1% CTR. When I just do a page post with an image and a link in the text it seems like people just miss the link and I get horrible CTR

CTR is way too low - try and make your advertisement look more appealing, as well as creating different ads and split test - see which advertisement gets a higher CTR in terms of images.

Conversions rate is okay in my opinion, as long as it converts, you're fine.

Fter what time should I delete an ad that has no CTR? I mean for example if it had 100 views and 0 clicks should I wait a day or 2 or cancel it instantly?

Hi all,

A question for nihalsad or whoever might know this:

I know that when we order items from aliexpress, we need to let them know NOT to put any invoice, etc inside the package.

BUT another forum member mentioned that because of customs (or whatever) there is pricing info on the OUTSIDE of the package (which wouldn't be good for items we markup quite a bit).
Case in point is a flashlight I bought recently and it shows the exact price I paid for it (see attached)

How can I be sure the buyer doesn't see what I actually paid for the item?

The only positive I can see is that the label is quite small and the font is tiny - so if they're really not looking closely at ALL of the label, they would probably just tear the package open and not even see the price.

Thanks all…

I remembered that with another dropshipper it was possible to send it as a "gift", hence no price Info. Maybe ask the vendor on aliexpress if that is possible :)

Guys, my trial is just ended and shopify trying to withdraw money from my card, but i use prepaid card with 1$ on it. It was bad shop so i decided to close it. But i can't even close it because shopify can't withdraw money. Should i forget about it or there can be problems?

Hey OP

After 4-5 days of adding stripe to my shopify it shows this

zDSyFwA

My stripe acc is in same state active, curious too see if they block my first transfer.
Did you saw this thing to your acc?

Not shure if OP would see my post since i cannot quote him, it would be great if someone can quote it for me:)

Thanks!
