There's plenty of methods working to rank but you will never here of them. For example, if I found a loophole to rank any keyword within a week and I was the only one who knew about it, sharing it on a public forum would be like shooting myself in the foot.

If you want to rank your site, do what nobody else is doing. It will be unique to only you and you have a way better chance of staying under Googles radar.

Have you used web 2.0 ranker. I am able to use it without proxy fine. But when I use 10 public proxies, it gives me general scraping error. Have you used it successfully?

I have practised it and it's work. My website is fairly doing awesome, with average session duration 4 minutes and bounce rate to 8%.

Another important part is when you work in improving quality of website, user engagement, better product quality to offer you create a best product for the long run.

That sounds a little stretched.. Link building is useless ? cmon.. don`t be like that, you`re ruining all my mojo.. Backlinks are very much useful and can bring a website to the top a lot faster than on its own, if done properly..

- Infographics;
- Directories link building technique still works, but you need to be mindful with how to approach it. Directory link building requires judgement and critical thinking! so do not be tempted by low-quality directories, they will cause you more damage than good.
- Asking for links is still an original and trusted technique that still works.

I didn't found any thread about G update yet. But google will allow only the quality backlinks to rank any site, I think.

I agree... Social media are better way to generate traffic than submitting it to some random directory group. If you still need to list it out. find someone on fiverr. they'll create backlinks at a cheaper rates

WHAT?!?! If you know what you're doing.. SEO and link building still rocks!

What I would suggest is adding a SALES FUNNEL and EMAIL COLLECTION/SQUEEZE PAGE to any SEO/marketer's toolbox, as this insures you get people coming back and can continually contact them after that 1st initial visit.

Trust me, 7 years of SEO talking.. every year someone says it's dead, and every year I make another 6-figures doing SEO for my same 25+ clients.

Bottom line, there are no guides, because there isn't so much stuff that works anymore. There are a few basic types of backlinks and techniques that are working still perfectly fine:

- Expired/boosted web 2.0s will always be perfectly safe and provide perfect foundation
- Guest posts and manual outreach will always be a holy grail of SEO. Not only you will get a SEO benefits but also traffic. Requires work and can get expensive, but totally worth it.
- PBNs if you know what you are doing will always be a powerful method.

Rest is merely for anchor and link diversity, not really for any link juice.
