I Think I Will Call It A Quit Online

We really need some idea of your strategy. If you've been at it 7 years and made no money you must have been going about things the wrong way.

I know you want to get out but it's still worth discussing your past failures here so you can actually learn from them, especially since you might feel compelled to come back and give it another shot in the future.

If you were willing to write an in-depth post on what your goals were, what steps you took, and your results I think it would be helpful for yourself and other users here.

Then can you give me a clue?

Yeah I work in casino games. I think when I start a new website, I would be dumb as fuck to aim for ranking for "Roulette" "Poker" "Slot Machines", I would rank for relevant easy to rank keywords related to the main niche.

PLEASE READ THIS
i would like to give my opinion as newbie because when you think nothing will work and you wont make money, reading about people that are successful in what they do, make you feel only more dispirited. (i mean, the help of more experienced people is the most important thing but when you feel down wont help you)

i started doing affiliate marketing 3 week ago, before i didn't know nothing about it. also i'm italian and not very good in english so you can imagine my difficulty in learn.
but i think i understood something REALLY important to get started: NEVER spend a dollar (in my case euro) when you aren't experience and you never made money online.

since 3 weeks i started reading about people who made 100 $ in one day and get exited thinking that would be easy to replicate... big mistakes, but i din't give up and started to promote offers from maxbounty (actually i get approved even if i had no experience at all, probably becaus i lied to them)

i used facebook, creating page, promoting in groups, creating landing page (also with fake news) and in all this time earned 8 $.
you may think that's nothing but for me was the prove that i was doing something right.

i wrote all this because i want you to know that making money online can be hardest that in real life and most people fail because they think as soon they register on some affiliate network someone will throw money to them, well that never happen.

i hope this helped you in some ways and sorry for my english as always.

Take a break. Get a job. Come back to IM in 6 months to a year when you are fresh and motivated again.
Best suggestion, i did quite once and then restarted after 2 years with a fresh mind and breath of air. Then the money started to roll in, at least it complements my 9-5 job well. So dont quite forever, just for the time being :)

I stepped away three times in 10 years and every time I came back I had a better understanding and more success. I always kept my ear to the ground when I wasn't directly working with seo but I have been through everything from adsense to ebay, to cpa, a web design and seo agency in a competitive market (Long Island NY), and then back around again with a whole bunch of other cool yet unrelated shit in between. We grow or we die and the only way to grow is to continue to learn.

But sometimes we need to know when to take a break.
