PBN Sellers Linked To Each Other

Thank god I stayed away from these cheap PBN sellers, the only one I tried was @sarkark21 service and tbh, it was shit. Never used it again. One thing I noticed was, I started getting Emails from aka sam right after I bought service from sarkar. Also, Sarkar lives in Jaipur, India. The emails from aka sam also had an address from Jaipur, India.

This is how both of their emails ended -

Luckily my favourite PBN seller at bhw is not in the list. :D

I'm sure the mods got a few PMs from a few members to give some evidence so I think the guilty members will be cracked down on in the coming days!

IMO there needs to be a massive shakeup of how the BST is currently run. Sellers should be asked to provide details of their sources and the service should be reviewed on a regular basis. Also it's important to note that something provided to a mod may not be the same provided to a buyer. I think some sort of mod mystery shopping is required to get everyone in line. I think the problem also exists with the guest post publications and editorial links, ie many sourced from Fiverr.

A google sheet with all pbn domains on bhw? Are you working for google?

The idea is quite good, but if this should happen sooner or later then please with a private database that is somehow secure.
google worksheet is an metaphor, we can do it in bhw server.

I don't understand why the phrase "PBN service" is allowed in the BST section at all.

A private blog network, by definition, is not private at all if it is selling links on a public forum to as many customers as it possibly can.

Happened to me also, reselling from each other PBNs within this forum is actually quite common, one of the reason why i stop buying PBN posts also.

I was once sent the same samples from 2 different sellers in the BST section, crazy right? But tbh it is quite common.

EDIT: Just went through a few pages above, to be fair @Tommy was a long time reputable seller before he was even a Jr.Exe, just saying.

Probably moreeeeee.... so that's why sellers dont offer reports! fcks!

Thank you OP for starting this thread, and thank you to savobaby for naming names. I'll look through some of my reports tomorrow. And I'll second whoever was complaining about getting tons of spam email after buying some of these packages - ridiculous!

2) Service providers who are also allowed to be MODs....conflict of interest anyone? Example - Bigbuddy! MODs should NOT also be service providers.
Not saying a MOD should forfeit their income. I am saying they should not have been made a MOD in the first place. The current MODs who are also service providers became MODs AFTER launching their BSTs.

The conflict of interest covers alot more than what you listed and never said to apply one example to every single MOD. Even before BB went to the dark side it is something that seems to me common sense.
Ok, you can approve my thread and i will approve your thread ;)

Actually i do have a lot of respect and trust for some MOD/BST sellers like BTB....but just saying its not healthy to do both as a forum overall.
It's funny that you brought that up. When I was a moderator-in-training, I contacted another moderator to ask them if they thought opening a BST as a moderator would be in bad taste.

The way he put it, it's fine since moderators are not given any special privileges in the marketplace (at all, and I'll explain this in a moment); we're put through the exact same testing as regular sellers, we're treated the same as regular sellers, and we're expected to follow the same rules as regular sellers.

I, of course, contacted a moderator with that question at the time because there was a BST I had been developing over the past year. I put a lot of work into it, too. I spent that entire year gathering information and listening to what the community does and does not want in a BST. I even spent time and money setting up a website for that potential sales thread as well as numerous hours researching, testing, and developing the service. All of that, and I may not even offer the service here because I prefer being seen as a sort of "neutral mod" by the members here (in regards to any guides I post or reports people send me). I have nothing to gain and nobody thinks I have ulterior motives; and honestly, that's the way I like it.

I'm unsure if you saw that post by Apricot last year explaining BST approvals, but moderator BSTs can and do get rejected. In fact, let me take this time to clear up a few misconceptions you or anyone else may have about BST-owning moderators.
  • Moderators typically don't touch their own BST threads to keep the peanut gallery quiet. @t0mmy in particular doesn't ever moderate his own threads. This is something I can confirm as I've viewed the reports he's sent in.
  • We cannot approve our own BSTs. As I mentioned before, moderators go through the exact same review process as any other member. This means a marketplace moderator (not a regular mod like me) needs to test the service (it also can't be themselves).
  • If a moderator submits a BST, it isn't more likely to get approved. Contrary to popular belief, we aren't all clique buddies sitting around jerking each other off.

BB being a Marketplace Mod and a BST owner was a conflict of interest but that was a situation that the current owners of BHW inherited (I think?)

I don't see a problem now, as all Marketplace Mods are in-house (employed not volunteers) and Mods that do have BST's have go through the same rigorous process as other members (if anything it is probably even stricter) as
@Zwielicht has stated above.

Why are these services still open in Marketplace? Why not close their threads until this gets settled? If it just takes one thread in shitlist to gets these sellers banned, then OP should really start one.
