CPA questions from a newbie

Hi everyone,

I've been reading posts and topics about how to start doing cpa.
I have chosen my niche. Can someone guide me through this to make things more clear?
I want to start with wordpress and already registered on CPAgrip and maxbounty.

• First i need to setup wordpress
• Get a domain
• Get a hosting ( i heard members in BHW talks about bluehost. )
• Put contents and make a landing page
• Start another page with the cpa offer link
• Direct traffic to the cpa offer link with traffic sources

1. I heard BHW members saying using VPS is better?
2. What about DMCA hosting?
3. What are the basics to start with? Because i heard so many things like redirecting, cloaking, content lock etc.

Yea i just want to confirm if i get those basic steps right, but also those questions about VPS, cloaking etc wondering if they are nessesary.
Well for getting traffic to the site, i've been reading on the forum so i should know how to bring traffic from other sources for my niche. But if you can teach me i'm happy to hear

A VPS is typically not necessary when you are just starting out. I still run a lot of my sites on the cheapest hosting possible. Are you trying to make some quick cash, or do you have a longer term outlook? I didn't make much money my first 3 years of online marketing. Not trying to discourage you as I made millions at CPA after that, but it sucked for a while in the beginning. In reference to cloaking... I guess you mean should you redirect your affiliate links to hide your links? If that's what you mean, then yes use a plugin for redirects that hide that its an affiliate link. If you have a large site it also helps with managing your links if they change down the road.

Wordpress is good because it's very user friendly even my grandpa can operate it.
And about hosting, shared hosting is still good if you don't run performance-intensive applications in PHP with a big traffic flow but that's hard to see from a start. Static website (HTML only or in your case, wordpress without extensive plugins) Is ran good on a shared hosting. And it's much cheaper.

Honestly it seem like you got it all together on how to do this. Stay away from Bluehost, I've heard bad things about it. Such as slow support and much downtimes. Payment issues etc.

Lol what? A VPS has nothing to do with CPA, it is not needed

You dont need it, you have to generate insane amounts of traffic to get the attention of the DMCA

Find a niche you want to promote, set up your landing page reflecting that niche, add your offers then start promoting via social media

A clarification is needed: I don`t think anyone would recommend Bluehost. It's owned by EIG now, google it if you don`t know what it means. For cheap hosting, look at iPage. It is owned by the same EIG but has insanely lower prices. For reliable but more expensive hosts, do your reseach. There is even a section on BHW marketplace for hostings. Look there and also check reviews to make sure you get something good.

I'd say start off with shared hosting package and experiment with that. The first thing I'd focus on is generating quality traffic -- that's the toughest part. Once you've figured that out, start monetizing.

That's the spirit. If you fail, please just keep learning and trying. Focus on one strategy at a time, and think of it as a business model and not a "get rich quick" scheme. Good luck!
