OK, I've got over 300 twitter accounts(planning to add more) that I use to drive traffic to my music blog through dm feature. Since its a music blog I was thinking about starting a promotional YouTube music channel like trap nation and proximity. So should I send the the traffic from my twitter accounts to the Youtube channel instead of the blog, since Youtube has a viral nature. The blog's traffic doesn't really grow unless I add more accounts but I think a youtube channel would grow. Then would I make more money from adsense from youtube?

This might be a bit annoying,but do both

Both my blog has a higher rpm than youtube.
yes but establishing a youtube channel could be much more rewarding, your twitter accounts could get banned and then you have no more traffic to send to your blog

You can also try this, if you are going to use adsense over YouTube:

1) Twitter -> YouTube -> Your Blog

After gaining a decent follower base on both the platforms:

2) Twitter + YouTube --> Your Blog & mixing it with the step 1.

So is a matter of sacrificing my short term gains for long ones?

Yeah I'm trying to choose it, I'm not sure if starting a YouTube channel (but I'm not a native English speaker) or blog. The niche is graphic but if I run the blog it could be oriented also about lifestyle.

if you are making decent money from your blog right now id do both, but when you start off your yt channel make sure to upload royalty free music or "borrow" music from unknown creators on soundcloud like trapnation used to do

Use both.....

The more channels/medium you use, the more money you generate from them.

Twitter + Youtube + Blog

SO I should direct have the traffics from my accounts to my blog and the rest to youtube channel.

Yes, And try to Upload your Video First on Your Blog. So google or other Search engines Consider your Blog Video As an Authority Video and That Video Rank Above in Search Engine. You Can Generate More money from the blog rather than Youtube (In General).

Embed the youtube video or upload it directly to the blog.

Upload Directly to the Blog that's what I think fit for you. And upload it on youtube too but make it private so no one would copy your work. And Make it public after few months.

I tried using 100 accounts to send dm to a youtube video. The amt of views I got was not impressive. Ill stick to sending the traffics to my blog. The use some of the adsense revenues to invest in a facebook page.
