Why using shopify + aliexpress (knowing that delivery takes 20-40 days) and not shopify + amazon ?

If the item that you want to sell from AliExpress is on Amazon and the prices are the same, it's probably coming from China anyway and delivery will take the same amount of time.

Thank you for this! One question, did you use $20 daily budget in your FIRST facebook ad? From what I've been reading, the recommendations are to start with $5 and then $10 for two ads at the same time. Was your pixel already knowledgeable?

I have tried this method and earned some money, i posted my earnings a while ago. It really works and is a perfect starting point in IM. However, I find it very difficult to earn LOTS of money with this method. Despite everything I tried, it's very hard for me to get more than one order per day.

Since I earn way more money with my other projects but it would still be a shame to ditch this project, I'm thinking of selling my Shopify store with custom domaon + FB page etc for a very affordable price. It's a perfect way to start earning online money as a newbie (Currently i get around 600$ per month, of which around 400$ is pure profit). Yes, this is the actually fact. Though they mention quick shipping time on the product page, when you complete the payment, the shipping time changes. So, @mumuk the point here is how you twist it to compete with amazon.

One more thing, most of items listed in Amazon can't be ordered by non US people, unless you have a US CC or something like that, so if you want sell being a non US resident, this works great and US amazon doesn't ship most of the items out of US and so is the case with other country Amazon sites, which doesn't work for everyone to do shopify + amazon.

Yes, it's better to work with ali, since you will have flexibility to deliver to any country.

Not all products will be delivered in 2-3 days in my personal experience and I know even in US, it's same cos one of my cousin is avid amazon fan and I have discussed this issue.

It's says 20 upto 60 days with ali at least for India, where there will be no epackets for free, but I have received them in 12 to 15 days max, not all but most of the products.

Mention it before hand to the buyers about the delivery time and they won't mind IMO.

2. I sold 2 items via paypal. Both paypal receipts says im not eligible for sellers protection. I asked paypal what does it mean, they said it means if customer claims money back, it will automaticly refunded for buyers favour. I asked what if someone orders 1000 $ worth of goods, receives it and then disputes/claims, do i lose money and goods even if i have tracking numbers and invoices etc, apparantly they refuse to answer (they answer and only send links to theyre policy where its not stated) so I think thats the case. Bollocks

If you have someone ordering for a certain amount that makes you feel uncomfortable, stop the sale, refund the money and ask the client to pay by bank transfer, if i see someone ordering for $1500- and i have never had him/her as a customer before no way i am going to tackle that sale with PP or CC, first time sales above $300 will need to be dome with a bank transfer... You really need to cover your ass and this is how i do it, cus Paypal is a bitch for sellers....

Hi man i am in south africa you say your drop shipping to South Africa and Dubai? i am only dropshipping to the US but this payment gateways they are just a hustle.Now my real question is are your customers buying despite the long shipping times? also are u drop shipping straight from aliexpress to South Africa or are you buying then fulfilling the orders yourself ones they arrive?Because i would love to start drop shipping to south africa so i can use payfast and i can ditch paypal. was using 2checkout but those SOBs closed my account

Ok, so I have been selling on Shopify for about 10 months now and I have accumulated revenue of more than $45,000+ through 2 Shopify stores, different niches. I am currently averaging $3,000 per store at the moment & christmas sales has been crazy. Bear in mind I live outside of the US but my main markets are South Africa & Dubai mostly because that is my targeted ad market. To my knowledge, Facebook ads dont really work like that, saturated and FB is strict. My best platform for ads has been Instagram (same facebook) which gives me at least 150,000 impressions, 900 clicks and at least a 10% conversion rate with a $25/4 day sponsored ad. Everything takes time so give yourself at least 10-20 days if you are lucky before you store becomes busy.

There are plugin apps that make sales better like the ones that pops up showing people shopping & adding to cart on your website, the fear of missing out. You can work on your instagram SEO like buy likes & followers and just know how to work the IG algorithm (post early between 7-10am, use locations, the right hashtags, etc). Adwords is the best for people to find you through Google ($80 a month is okay). Adwords Express is for non tech savvy people like me but has given me more conversions than any other platform. Shopify is easy, never once have they ever blocked me and if you are sick you can card your own store Next year the plan is to have 10 more shopify stores so I can that Porsche waiting for me. I already bought an Audi A6 and have my apartment sorted since I started selling on Shopify. All in one year.

Guys, how do you set up your store for accepting credit card payment? I'm non-US citizen.. Any recommendation? I looked for some like Authorize dot net, it needs phone call and many stuff to do to apply for it. Are you guys been through those complex process too? My shop has finished setup, now just left the accepting credit card..

I've got my website set up, purchased the domain. Have 43 "free" products listed and have sorted my delivery prices/weights.

All I need to do now is set up a Facebook campaign and hopefully start making some money.

Of course you can't run the add with out adding CC. They will charge you after you spend $25 on ad.

You have to pay for Facebook ads. But you also can try this method with free traffic sources.
