Is it better to list free items with paid shipping or list paid items with free shipping?

Both works. It's what niche you choose and how smart you market. Items for which people are crazy goes with free + shipping, for essential/daily used items paid item + shipping work.

But you find an item that is super crazy, it will work paid item + paid shipping.

BTW, @nihalsad can you please answer my questions.

Thanks :) I think I might go for paid (but cheap) items with free shipping for my niche. With free shipping the advantage is that people will complain less about slow delivery times I guess :D

100 a day - just a dream for now, but will do my best!

Hi,

Amazing post. I am trying this method and have begun making sales within the first 2 days.

After placing 4 dropship orders aliexpress have halted my ordering ability to review docs they require (picture of debit card, bank statement & photo ID). Just wondering if this will happen more often as my orders grow or if Aliexpress will be happy after these reviews.

Secondly, I know from xp that Paypal will demand docs after $1k and $5k ( I think) have moved through the account. I'm just wondering if you could let me know what red tape I will run into as this scales and at what point will Shopify's payment gateway demand docs off me too?

Thanks!

what is best payment gateway/merchant for dropshipping if u are non US-citizen?

I got a pretty good idea to dropship some T-shirts I found on Aliexpress. Am I free to sell and dropship any T-shirt I find on Aliexpress? Will be there any issues I could possibly run into with this?

So you input the customers address into aliexpress and ship directly to them. On average how long are you spending each day placing the orders?

Sorry didn't see that Oberlo does this.

Ok, so I have been selling on Shopify for about 10 months now and I have accumulated revenue of more than $45,000+ through 2 Shopify stores, different niches. I am currently averaging $3,000 per store at the moment & christmas sales has been crazy. Bear in mind I live outside of the US but my main markets are South Africa & Dubai mostly because that is my targeted ad market. To my knowledge, Facebook ads dont really work like that, saturated and FB is strict. My best platform for ads has been Instagram (same facebook) which gives me at least 150,000 impressions, 900 clicks and at least a 10% conversion rate with a $25/4 day sponsored ad. Everything takes time so give yourself at least 10-20 days if you are lucky before you store becomes busy.

There are plugin apps that make sales better like the ones that pops up showing people shopping & adding to cart on your website, the fear of missing out. You can work on your instagram SEO like buy likes & followers and just know how to work the IG algorithm (post early between 7-10am, use locations, the right hashtags, etc). Adwords is the best for people to find you through Google ($80 a month is okay). Adwords Express is for non tech savvy people like me but has given me more conversions than any other platform. Shopify is easy, never once have they ever blocked me and if you are sick you can card your own store ;) Next year the plan is to have 10 more shopify stores so I can that Porsche waiting for me. I already bought an Audi A6 and have my apartment sorted since I started selling on Shopify. All in one year.

I hope this helps. Shoot me a message if you need help in setting up one. I can help with setting up your store, suppliers and anything thing Shopify related.
Hello reggaemonger, can I have your email or skype id? I am starting out with a great shopify store, I need some professional advice if possible. Cheers !

can someone help me pls my page is password protected and i need to selecgt a plan to start selling on shopify is that normal ??

If anyone is interested in a JV to try to this method out in the Belgium (EU) market where there is no real competition then let me know.

I am trying this method with another country in Europe which has no e-packet, and it's being disastrous for the long time it takes for the items to arrive. This method makes a lot of sense with countries which have http://www.chinapostaltracking.com/qa/epacket-destination-1745/ .

Which I would say that trying that in Belgium will get the same result I am getting right now...

Maybe trying a joint venture to target one of those countries would be cool for you?

Cheers!

Hi!! I did watched all your videos on udemy

I am beginning in this business model... I have a lot question...

First of all. I am not USA resident, I'm a Mexican trying to do dropshiping from aliexpress to USA/UK/CA customers. I'am very confusing about my legal situation.

If I make sales for USA/UK or CANADA customers ¿In which country I must pay my taxes?
¿Can I take an advantage of the virtual location?
for example, Shopify ask for your location store, ¿Which country I must pull on there for get some advantages?

The business of the dropshiping model does not have a really location... only the physical person importing products to the store exists, so, ¿Can we change this information for our convenience if we have some people of trust living in other countries?

So, for example... My real location is Mexico (obviously I want get my money in my country) but, ¿Really is a good idea say my virtual store is in Mexico?

¿Why not choose USA location? for USA residents you will have chance to choice "shopify payments" that means you will pay a low commission rate. ¿Can you understand my point?

¿What there About the Taxes? like I said before I want get my money in my country... but ¿It's a good idea say that my store is there? And if it's better say that my store is in a different location, ¿Can this is create a significative difference for avoid pay taxes? or maybe pay the lowest? for example says my store is in Andorra, Delaware, Suiza, Hong Kong, Singapur etc.

¿Could be better get the money in a different country for after send to your own country?

Thats is my vision point... ¿Can someone give me a better vision of this? ¿Do you have experience?

Hey guys, oberlo is great with epacket to US,but what happens if i run ads on Pinterest,Instagram etc without geolocation-if someone from Brazil or whatever visits shop and checkouts its like 30$ shipping, how do you avoid that,is there any way to restrict countries on checkout?

Just a heads up.

1. I got 1 chargeback (stupidly canceled my own first test order) and Stripe automatically tried to refund from my payoneer account. As payoneer does not allow negative deposits, Stripe placed hold on every payment until either bank account switched or fixed (cant fix payoneer account). I live in europe and do not have any other US bank accounts so trying to figure out alternative. I will lose 50 bucks on stripe account. There is a way to create new stripe account every time and run it until you face chargeback but associating those accounts with 1 store will make it a bit suspicious I think.

2. I sold 2 items via paypal. Both paypal receipts says im not eligible for sellers protection. I asked paypal what does it mean, they said it means if customer claims money back, it will automaticly refunded for buyers favour. I asked what if someone orders 1000 $ worth of goods, receives it and then disputes/claims, do i lose money and goods even if i have tracking numbers and invoices etc, apparantly they refuse to answer (they answer and only send links to theyre policy where its not stated) so I think thats the case. Bollocks

May I ask a (maybe) stupid question ;

Why using shopify + aliexpress (knowing that delivery takes 20-40 days) and not shopify + amazon ?

thank you
