Why bother with such a slow drip feeding to tier 2? It's just bookmarks really.
I am sorry to ruin anyones party, but you are a bit late with the GSA to be honest. Like 2 years late basically.
What about using social bookmarking and similar features of GSA in drip feed mode for a forum? If I build one social bookmark per URL per day, I assume that I can see long term positive effects. I did not try this. Just asking.
I was ranking sites with it until Penguin 4 the back end of last year until my method was patched out, I am still trying to develop a new one. It's a tool, the tool does as the user tells it. Just because one method has been patched out does not mean I'm going to stop using it.
Firstly SER has close to no social bookmark targets worth your time. I think that you maybe getting a little confused with how people use social bookmarks for long term effects. The basis is to leak traffic with a high quality share, not an automated post. I know a few people who use automated social bookmarking in their indexing process but thats about it.
Of course it's a tool and does what we tell it to do, but unless you have tons of previous experience, know what you are doing, have patience to develop a method and tons of luck to make it work, you will not succeed with it. I also doubt that you have managed to rank anything else than 0 competition long tails, possibly on parasites as money sites, but I may be wrong of course. For someone who has zero prior experience with GSA and, with all due respect, almost zero with SEO, the GSA is definitely not something to start with now. Same goes for sape for example. SEO is evolving every single day and if someone comes too late to the party, then I am sorry, it's not worth it.
It's as if you came to the actual party at 1am, when everyone else already had fun and you are only one sober. Will you get drunk to catch up? You may, but you will not have too much fun and you will have a hangover in the morning, so is it worth it? Nah.
What happened to sites that used GSA heavily when the GSA patch is released? Did they lose rankings?
I don't understand this. I bought many popular services here (150+ USD ones too). People seem to pay for spammy links. I saw many types of links: web profiles, URLs on image sharing sites, social bookmarks etc. So methods they used are not much different than social bookmarks. Is web profile better than social bookmark? I think bookmark is much less spammy. It is just another type of non-centextual link. It is not as powerful as contextual links but it is still a link. Why do you underestimate it? I don't know how you build your links but I don't see many choices.
By the way, I am talking about links from sites like del.icio.us, Reddit (lower quality ones). I hope that you are not talking about social networks.
As I said, I did not check GSA social bookmarks yet. It is really strange to hear that it does not support many social bookmarking sites/platforms.
Not sure if you are just knocking SER and SAPE to leave PBNs on the table as you offer a PBN "service" or if you are actually clueless. By your logic noone should ever get into SEO because they are behind the curve.
Also they maybe what you class as 0 competition, they maybe what you class as very tough keywords, tbh I couldent care less. I go for PROFITABLE keywords. I see no reason in spending $990 a month on stuff to rank for a site that brings in $1000 a month leaving $10 profit just so you can say you ranked a hard comp keyword, I don't have time for that I want money. Also I tried parasites in the past but I have been 100% on my own brand new fresh domains for years now.
I think you misunderstand what SER actually does, it posts to content management systems, not bespoke sites. Things like Reddit and delicious run bespoke themes to my knowledge. SER is unable to post to them, it posts to social bookmark CMS' such as Pligg.
It does have a handful of native Web 2.0 but they are a total waste of time in my opinion.
I would ask you to keep the civil tone here. I am not a cunt and I won't be writing shit just to promote my "service".
because he will most likely screw it, when you can outsource that stuff for $10. And that's exactly what will happen if he decides to go this way.
Yeh and by the way, it's not that you either use GSA or outsource from marketplace.![]()
ISo, it looks like you are not using regular sources of backlinks. What do you use to gain backlinks? Do you only use your own PBN?
Asks to keep it civil only to say shit and cunt in the next sentence lol.
You literally go from "most likely" to "exactly" within a sentence without knowing the OPs methodology or logical process.
No idea what your trying to say here, any chance you could rephrase?
I had been using GSA ever since it came out. I alone have 3 licenses, so please, don't patronize me.
Also, "ranking" longtail keyword on 30th - 40th position is no ranking at all. And for $200 a month, which is a considerable price for a newbie like OP, you are better off with bought links for the tier 2. And I can assure you, that unless you are buying super massive shit links, then they are not powered by GSA.
Yeh and you can get a GSA blast for what, $10, $20 tops here? For $200 a month which you would spend on it, you can rather get 10-20 outsourced blasts and don't even have to put in work to do it correctly. Makes absolutely no sense to spend money on doing the GSA link building yourself. Whether effect or cost wise.
SER supports like 20 different platforms, each of them have a bunch of engines. I still use SER each day, I just dont use it for Web 2.0s as the engines are a waste of time in my opinion.
You claim that SER links have no juice, I point out that they get my T1s ranking for long tail keywords, you say it doesn't matter. It's kind of patronizing to move the goal posts.
The SER packages being sold here and elsewhere are mostly garbage. The cheap PBN posts being sold here are, from what I've tested, entirely garbage. It's cheaper and more effective to learn SER.

Ok. I am asking again. What do you use?Since the title of this thread is "How to use GSA properly, need help", could you explain your GSA method?
Or more specifically, which features of GSA would you use for ranking very low competitive long tail keywords in a scalable way? (using drip feeding and without spamming)
I thought using social bookmarks but you said that it is useless for ranking. So what do you do with GSA for ranking?
Thanks in advance for tips(trying to be civil)
No mate, you said they are ranking, I told you, that #30 - #40 for no competition keyword is not "ranking". "Ranking" is, when the stuff brings you traffic. How are you going to push those keywords further?
And yep, I agree with stuff being garbage, that's why I told OP to use it only for tier 2 purposes. Sure, you will get more quality if you invest more and do it yourself, but that brings us to my point, which is, that in my opinion, it's not worth learning the ropes of GSA nowadays. That time can be spent more effectivelly, especially for a person who is just starting with SEO. By the end of the day, I am sure I will have to repeat it at least 5 more times.
I think just like you about services here. It is better to do it yourself in a custom way. And as Nargil said, it will take more time and money. But I think it is safer and a better long term strategy.
Seems like you misunderstood or didn't read segments of my post. Those sites at 30-40 are not for no competition keywords, they are for competitive longtails in my niche. They are also T1s, so I'm not planning to get traffic, I'm simply using the rankings to measure whether they've got any juice / relevance, as I and many others always have for our T1s.
The second part is your opinion, and while you're entitled to it I think you're wrong and have given plenty of evidence for why.![]()
