How to use GSA properly, need help

Hi,

I am fairly new to SEO. I have a new domain that I want to rank which is recently indexed. Now I am creating web 2.0 as well as article submission. To the best of knowledge we shouad not use GSA directly on main website. So shouad I do GSA blast on back links (web 2.0 + article sites)? How many back links do I need? Any help / suggestion please . . .

i just let GSA run 24/7 ....... you can't really put a total of links you want in there. you can just limit how many a day.

Concentrate on social media as an initial step for link building.

How many backlinks is not important, you have to think about the quality of the links.

You can use GSA blast for tier2 and tier3 link building, for tier 2 you can blast with some wikis, profiles and web2.0, for tier 3 blast with blog comments and guestbooks.

Sometimes you can rank with just 1 link, or no links.

Before you start working on the external SEO (links, social media) make sure the site ranks to lower pages without any links. You might hit page 3 or so, but you then have a measure to compare once you start building links.

Why don't we use blog comments in tier 1? And why don't we use profiles and web2.0 for tier 2? So why do you put those specifically into one tier instead of using them for both tiers?

IMO better to avoid auto tool for SEO, particularly after the update from last November.

I still think the tool can be used on Tier one but just not for ranking purposes, if you need to diversify anchor texts then it has its uses.

Exactly this. Or maybe even work backwards to make sure your keywords and on page are on point as they are steps one and two. Too many people jump right in to backlinks and thats step three in my oppinion.

In my opinion there is no point in using blog comments or guestbooks anymore, they are far too risky to use on your T1 and they don't help with indexing much anymore as I explain in my case study here.

Pretty sure Penguin 4 was September/October but SER defo took a big hit from it, the method I used to use is gone completely.

As said, there is no exact count for the number of backlinks required, how are you making the web 2.0s? If it is with SER then you are wasting your time as I explain in my case study here. I am sorry to ruin anyones party, but you are a bit late with the GSA to be honest. Like 2 years late basically.

GSA links won't do crap for you. They are nice for some tier 2 diversity and all, but that's the best they can do. Most of them won't even get indexed and the ones that do get indexed will not provide almost any linkjuice. Considering the benefit that GSA brings nowadays, it's absolutely not worth the costs. Licenses, VPS, proxies, content spinner, premium list etc etc. Definitely not worth the bother. For those money you are better off ordering some cheaper PBN posts as tier 2.

Build a good amount of tier 1 links and index them first, mostly contextuals. Then see how you rank before building tier 2s.

What about using social bookmarking and similar features of GSA in drip feed mode for a forum? If I build one social bookmark per URL per day, I assume that I can see long term positive effects. I did not try this. Just asking.

I would like to mention one disadvantage of buying PBN links from marketplace. As far as I see, they won't last much. I guess those PBN blogs are replaced in a year due to deindexing (because they are easy targets for G after selling links)

I think you are right about buying GSA but the problem is I already have it. I bought it in 2012/2013 and never used it I am trying to find a safe way to utilize it now...

And the problem with those services is that they don't support drip feeding properly (any service that can give me 1-2 unique bookmarks per day?)
