Blog Content Length vs Page Rank vs Domain Authority

Hi, I have two questions.

1. Does content Length of all your sites pages get averaged and contribute to your overall domain authority?

Not that I have any DA right now. But I was thinking of adding a new category or type of post. There wouldn't be much content on these pages.

Examples: Info-graphics with maybe 100-200 word openers. Or Code snippets for computer programmers.

2. Would the Page rank on those pages just be bad. Or would it effect my ranking on other pages as well?

Good Idea? Bad Idea? Your thoughts?

If you are talking about Moz DA its based on link profile not page content. If you talking about Google, Yes page content length matter but depends on site niche and lots of other factors, that's the reason sites with tons of lengthy content gets better ranking because high quality content get tons of links naturally. links is main factor for authority.

You can share codes and info graphic etc anything with 200 to 300 words.Its doesn't impact your other page rankings.

This is not always true. Ahref's study on on-page SEO shows that the average content length for a #1 website is 800 words. If you can add more relevant content without losing visitor retention, you should. But if you're just artificially adding length for the sake of length, it's not necessary.

Sound like my question has more to do with "On Page Time" rather then content. The longer I can keep someone on My page, The Better my DA and Google Search Rank will be?

So basically I could put up a youtube video and if people watch it for 10 minutes. Its better then a 1000 word article that takes the user 5 minutes to read?
