Hi, I did a quick search on internal linking on this website and didn't really see anything posted in the last 3 years. Since SEO is frequently changing, I thought Id ask my Question.

Is it OK (good for SEO) to internally link pages on the same domain. Pages pointing at each other?

For Example: I have 2 blog pages. One is how to restore session in Chrome, the other is how to restore sessions in Firefox. In the Content of the post I have Anchor text " Did you mean Chrome" That points to the other page and vise versa. So there point to each-others pages in the anchor text in the body of the blog.

Yes, its always good to interlink :)

I often do that for my all blogs and sites. It's a good practice!

Internal linking is best practice.
If you have big site means inbound links will play the bigger role.
Internal linking structure is the main part of the on page optimization.

Thanks guys, I know internal linking is good. But is there a bad way to do it? or is cross linking on my own site okay? Like am I suppose to have a circular pattern or anything? Cause i think Cross linking is bad if its two different domains...

Internal linking is necessary to let the link juice flow to your whole site, but keep in mind it's also a link so take care and use natural anchor not exact match on every page

Interlinking is very essential while doing On-Page SEO. You must interlink your website inner pages with others.
While linking the pages, you should use natural anchors rather deliberate exact matches.
Interlinking also helps user to know about the other pages, if they want to visit.

In "how to restore session in Chrome" page

Just like to add my suggestions, internal linking will get more visitors to your sites and it also reduces the bounce rate.Because the visitor will really comfortable while reading the articles built with internal links. And it helps for the flow of proper link juice on the site.

you can also use a silo structure plugin to make the interlink more google friendly

Not true, internal anchor text overoptimization will not cause any problems.

agreed
from what i understand if you are internally linking there is no risk with overoptimization, since its within the same domain

OP keep in mind your internal links are stronger if they come from stronger pages (homepage, or main services page, or high performing random page)

You would normally do it, if you had a genuine blog, right? It's natural to link to previous posts on your blog, when you are discussing similar topics, so of course it makes sense to interlink your posts as long as it adds value to your original content.

Wow! ok, so what I gather from the last 3 posts is:

I can link as MUCH, in ANY direction I want, With ANY anchor I want, without fear of negative SEO.

This is good stuff. Thanks!

Internal linking plays a major role in on page factor. It helps establish site architecture and spread the link juice, user experience, bounce rate, build page authority etc.

Yes . We can do it but don't overdo it

Interlinking is important and very helpful when it comes to SEO, but should be done right.
When you’re interlinking the right way- you can bring more search traffic to your related keywords and can make a better impact on the readers too. Because most readers will love reading additional references when they’re searching for something.
Here, reading this article will be very helpful.

IMO, I would only use one link to another page in each blog post, also I would add an external link to a trusted authority source like wikipedia, Youtube video etc.
