Do you offer shared hosing and if so, is there any recurring discount.

We don't have any recurring discounts for month over month payment but do offer discounts depending on the length of your payment period. For example, if you purchase for the year it averages out to $4.50 per month. Purchase for 3 years and your costs drop to $3.50 per month. Hope this helps. Please reach out to us through live chat, email or PM and can assist you further.

is there any chance you' guys will have the Let's Encrypt Plugin installed in Cpanel? some hosting have it already..

We currently don't have Let's Encrypt installed on our cPanels.

I really hate to leave negative feedback/review, however, I think a disclaimer is needed for potential buyers.
I cannot recommend HostWinds, not because of their product but because of their customer service.

I have been using them for (close to) a year and everything was great. I spoke with their support a few times and everything has been a pleasant experience.
However, as I didn't want to renew my plan for another year, I logged into the control panel to remove any possible credit card info thereby preventing any "auto renewal".
Please note, they did not send any "Your web hosting plan is about to renew" or alike email. I knew it would renew as I noted the date in my calendar when I bought the web hosting.
Since I couldn't find anything in the control panel about renewal, nor could I remove my credit card info (my info were in the fields, but they were "greyed"/not clickable).
As I wasn't 100% sure about the renewal, I opened the chat and spoke with one of their employees (great guy, he has helped me before) who assured me no subscription agreement was created, so my web hosting plan would not renew.

To make a long story shorter: They pulled the money from my credit card ($120) even though they told me they wouldn't as there was no agreement about it.

I have spoken with their customer service representative who blamed me for trusting them.

According to their website /our-company.php, you can contact the CEO if needed.

9 December: I wrote to Peter
14 December: I send a notice regarding the first email
15 December: Peter replies
15 December: I reply
20 December: I send another notice
That's it..

I can add timestamps to all the above, along with names etc.
But I don't really think it's necessary.

TLDR: HostWinds told me my plan would not renew, then stilled pulled $120 from my credit card and then blamed me for trusting them.

I wanted to provide an update on this as I dug a little deeper and confirmed with our tech team. Although we do not currently support Let's Encrypt, it is something we have in the works and plan on supporting in 2017.

Understand the concern that you have and want to find clarity in why this is happening as we always stand by our promises, this is something we don't take lightly at Hostwinds. We would love to get to the bottom of this and work to achieve the appropriate resolution. To do that we will need full details of the interaction, please PM this information as we want to respect your privacy;

1. Please provide account details, Full Name and ticket # in reference to above issues
2. Provide us with the name of the person you spoke with
3. Send over the email subject line you sent to Peter so he can dig it out and review it again for you

We will work on this immediately for you and resolve the issue as quick as we can.

Website has been offline for well over an hour now. cPanel won't load either. Live Chat was responsive at first and stopped replying 30+ minutes ago. Have yet to hear anything from the support ticket.

This just so happens to correspond with the launch of content from a full week's worth of work. Currently being offline is pretty much doing irreparable damage right now since it was outreach and targets are visiting the site right now... Couldn't be worse timing.
