Q: Where are these servers located?
A: Dallas Texas

Q: What kind of CPU's do these servers have?
A: We run only the latest model Intel Xeon Processors, we do not run any substandard CPU's such as the i7 series like most of our competitors

Q: How fast are the hard drives?
A: We use only the highest quality Western Digital Enterprise Grade Hard Drives, they are a lot more expensive than the desktop grade versions, but the extra performance is worth it.

Q: How many People are on each Business Server
A: We place no more than 150 people on each business server

Q: Does the plan come with a Dedicated IP?
A: Yes, all of our business hosting plans include a dedicated IP address by default.

Q: What is the network speed?
A: All of our Business servers have 10Gbps uplinks to the internet

Q: What is the difference between business and shared hosting?
A: We put less people on each business server, the Business plans include a dedicated IP, the PHP memory limit on business servers is 128Mb, as opposed to 64Mb on the Shared hosting plans. The business servers attract a higher quality of client, so there are generally less abusive users causing problems for people on these servers.

I have a dedicated IP etc accunt with Hostwinds and the server is going down all the time! These guys are cheap but you truly get what you pay for and their support is very hit and miss. I am moving all my web sites away from Hostwinds because I am very unhappy with the web hosting services. I have been at this a long time and know better to do bussiness with little chop shops like Hostwinds but I gave them a chance and once again have been let down by the little guy! I am going back with Linode, their expensive but their servers stay up!

I've been on hostwinds few months, I better burn my money instead of paying this "hosting". Websites offline every few hours, and so slow(need about 12 seconds to load website). Now I host my sites on digitalocean VPS for same price and they load in milisecond, goodbye hostwinds..

I don't have any evidence, but everytime I tried to load my websites, they need 20 seconds to load (if I am lucky), or they won't load at all.. I am happy with current host now. I just can say, it's not about my websites that causes that, they work excellent now. This is response from your support: "I have optimized both your website and database. Domain is loading with better speed now. I could see that the domain is using high page size. I have checked the domain with one of the performance sites, and pasting the report below. I advice you to go through the same and make necessary changes in making the site to load faster." He included link on gmetrix com , on gmetrix it says Page load time: 11.90s for my website. See it's not about my internet connection or website,it's just your servers are in deep sh!t.. On current host gmetrix show Page load time: 3.25s... I wish you all the best in your future..
