This is a very nice guide. I would do it, but I have no money to spend.
hey,

With this business model, you will need money to start. Because there are very littles chances that you find a winning product AND a winning ad copy from the first try. It takes a lot of testing in order to be successful

This happens when i try to buy a product from my own store. Any suggestions what might have gone wrong?

Are you dropshipping the shirts with a service like Printful?

No I'm using aliexpress t-shirts for now. When I run out of designs and I start getting a return then I'll start thinking about using a site for printing.

Anyone dropshipping using Oberlo or Expressfy for shopify integration?

Wondering specifically if they allow you to manipulate products and their listings on your site or if you are stuck using the info from the AliExpress page...

Oberlo. It makes everything easier. You can change anything from description to photos. You don't have to use the AliExpress info. Oberlo just imports all that info for you in a few clicks saving you lots of time.

I live in Australia but I want to target US market, can't I just make an Australian Shopify account?

But I then I found out that the website displays AUD instead of USD, perhaps due to Stripe payment limitations? Is there other payment gateways that can do multiple currencies?

Ha! I see nobody responded to my question then:
Has anyone that read this guide had any good success.... please give us some inspiration....

It just looks like one of those "good" ideas which never amounts to anything, don't get me wrong I'm sure there are many successful e.com marketers on here including the OP, I bet though that about 99.9% of those newbies that try this will end up failing.

I think the fact that not one person has posted good results on here or responded to my question above proves that. I don't want to waste time/money on things so might give this a miss.

Thanks though it made for an interesting read.

You can change the currency in the options of your shopify store. Once you get a purchase from your store the cash will be converted into AUD once it reaches your stripe account.

It's possible. I've already made a few sales following OPs thread but the thing is you need money if you're planning to do facebook ads. It's really not as easy as picking a product, a few targeted pages, writing an ad and waiting for the money to start flowing in. You need to choose a product, do lots of pin point split testing with different ages/devices/gender to see who is interested. Kill the ads that aren't working, leave the ones that are. Duplicate the working ad and try website conversions etc etc etc. Then you'll hopefully start making sales or make jack shit and you'll need to choose a different niche or different product. So in my opinion if you don't have much money that you're willing to invest and don't want to lose in the beginning then I wouldn't even bother with facebook ads. It's just not possible to make it big for someone who is just starting out.

i'm very low on budget, but i like the method and i want to give a try with dropship, what will be a different way to promote the website, the shopify or the storenvy ?

@Dresden, thanks yeah that's kind of what I thought to be honest, something I have learnt over the years from mistakes is to never jump into something too soon. Everything always looks AMAZING when reading these types of guides, again though don't get me wrong I'm not slamming this guide or any others on BHW because I'm sure someone with enough time, patients and money can turn something like this into big profit.

But for those that don't have the big $$$ I would say trying to find, and then outbid even the niches you would consider to be small will be tough. I always look at it from the perspective of there ALWAYS being competition based on the amount of like minded IM'ers online. Nothing is easy in life nor in IM it just comes down to finding something that best suites you I guess.

hey guys, i just cant setup the shopify payments, there is no shopify payments option is do you know why ?

Did anybody got a decent and regular income from this or all people got is 1-2 sales a week?

Awesome guide, I may try it with my instagram account next year.

will be nice to know the results of the people that has tried this method, lot of people are asking, but seems no one answer that question.

I think most people will soon stop after trying out one or two ad campaigns as the costs are quite high for the first 3-4 days then gets cheaper. The point is to stick it out and keep trying until you finally succeed. It gets easier every day once you get the hang of it. Just got another sale today just from my first campaign so it's not rocket science. All you have to do is aim for products people are passionate about.

If you're low on budget I think it would be a better idea to promote on social media pages like instagram with massplanner or something along those lines. I'm not really sure as I am solely using facebook ads for traffic.
