GSA SER - Public or Private Proxies?

After searching for what seemed like hours, only to be still confused and bombarded with opinions favoring both sides, I'm now forced to just ask my question.

I plan on using GSA SER and ScrapeBox for my Link Building Campaigns.

ScrapeBox will be used entirety for scraping target sites, using my list of keywords and footprints.
GSA SER will be used only for posting to those found sites, no scraping of target sites.

So here's my question, since I'm only posting with GSA SER, do I need Public or Private Proxies? I'm assuming only about 20 - 30 Private Proxies would be good, since its just posting. And If it were scrapping, I think those proxies would end up getting banned quickly and I'd have to get them replaced repetitively.

As for SrapeBox, I've heard and read that it has a built in Proxy Scraper that works well for scraping with, so I'm good there.

I here people saying to use both Public & Private Proxies with GSA SER, but none really say what they'll be having the program do. At this point, I'm sure a few Private Proxies is good enough only for posting to the Target Sites that were scraped by ScrapeBox. But I'd like to confirm this.

You want private proxies for SER if you are only posting. You don't ever want to post with public proxies. I mean you could, but it will put your success rates in the toilet.

basically public proxies are ok for scraping search engines, but thats it.

Public proxies for NOTHING. Never ever use public proxies, not even for scraping. For scraping you have services like Stormproxies here, which rotate a brutal number of proxies periodically and are perfect for this kind of job. With public proxies you won't scrape crap and they will die within a few minutes/hours.

Was going to say exactly this. I use Stormproxies to scrape Google and have absolutely no problem. I used to use public proxies and even bought GSA Proxy Scraper but like @Nargil said they end up getting banned from Google insanely quick.

You could always scrape Bing and then check which domains are indexed in Google after posting successfully with GSA.

Use public proxies for scraping is perfect, i was scraping like 10-20k URLs/s back in the day when i was still using GSA SER a lot with public proxies. Things are quite different now but should still works.

Only use private proxies for posting, it will save u ton of resources and the performance is a lot higher.

It is always better to build your own list, but If you are only using GSA SER for tier 2-3, considering buying a list, probably from @loopline, it will save you ton of money and hassle.

How would I set up that service on ScrapeBox?

Was only going to use ScrapeBox to scrape and build my own keyword targeted list.

Then I was going to use GSA to build my Tiered campaign, Tier 1 - 3.

For your Scrapebox (since you're only scraping) I would just scrape the proxies with Scrapebox and use those.

For GSA, I'd use Private Proxies. Instant Proxies are $1 a month. The cheapest for the quality that I've found yet. I used to use MPP but they weren't much better than Instant Proxies.

You can refresh your proxies if they get banned with most providers. I haven't had any banned with Instant, but I haven't been using GSA lately. I've only been using them with DHG and finding expired domains.

If I don't really see good results, then I'll try that Rotating Proxy service for scrapebox.

You can use public also for posting but the accuracy will be very low cuz a lot of those proxies will not work,you will have to use high custom retry
