So how to get stripe set up? I'm from a country that is not supported by Stripe but I have a legit bank account in a country that is supported. I added that to stripe but now they want ID scan for verification. My ID card is from a country that is not supported by them so I'm sure it'll get rejected and my Stripe account closed correct?

I heard that you can use ID from different country

Anyone already made any profit with this? Profit means he made a profit AFTER facebook ad spent.

"If you e.g. have a Fast & Furious necklace and you target people interested in F&F," Here is your biggest mistake. Read the whole OP and you will see why, read it carefully. With 5$ you won't do shit anyway, atleast 50$ to have some data.

Hmm so you mean I should spend $50 without any ROI? I spent $15 now without any order, so chances are that with $50 I will still have no order.
Also which mistake did I make? He said to target page likes based on affinity, this is what I did.

Thanks so much for this! It was hard finding a template to start out with, and that extended trial gives me some room for error while I test the waters. I was putting off setting up for fear of getting overwhelmed and needing too much time!

If anyone wants to discuss this method with me, hit me up on skype: Dunnnobro

I have read up to page 7, I apologize if this has been asked before. If a buyer buys several different items in your shop and you have several suppliers, does that mean the items would be sent separately and most likely arrive at different times?

Also, do we have to make US Shopify account for this? I mean why can't we just make UK or Australian Shopify account for this method, for example?

Can vouch that this method does in-fact work. Many of my long-time customers have stores which follow this model and we're absolutely killing it. Nice guide, brother!

Obviously, you need to take my message into context.

Adjusting your price relatively to your cost per purchase makes no sense unless you create a unique product, otherwise you won't be competitive in the market.

Do you think you are going to dictate the selling price for a product you are reselling ? No.. Again, you might make some sales, but your retention rate will be low, when your customers sees they could get the same items for cheaper elsewhere, they won't come back, and when they realise that it takes 2-3 or 4 weeks for their items to arrive at destination, they surely will never come back. Retention Rate & Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) are a key component of the Customer Life Time Value (CLV).

When CLV > CAC ---> You have a long term sustainable profitable business

You can dictate the price if you create your own unique product (just like you said) but... most of the guys here won't do because they will do dropshipping with Aliexpress (the easy way) and customers will most of the time only be buying from you once. My previous message was mostly targeted towards those people, and telling them to be careful and looking for other customer acquisition channel.

Building a sustainable customer acquisition strategy with ONLY FB Ads is very very hard, so I advice everyone to also look for organic channel from day 1. The goal here is very simple, when you are reselling products and can't dictate the price on the market, you need to lower your CAC.

"Do you think you are going to dictate the selling price for a product you are reselling ? No" - You are really wrong here. I know somebody who sells phone cases at 60$ dropshipped from ali (costs about 5-6$ there) and makes a killing (daily budget at 5k$ tho). So you dictate the selling price, facebook ads is not a marketplace, and there are mostly impulsive purchases, very few people goes the extra mile to make research about a 50-60$ item. You don't need retention, that's why you use LAA's. Don't compare your buying habits to stupid peoples habits (and a lot of the people are stupid in the US). What you say is applied to normal shops not shopify +facebook ads shop. I saw big rollers have barely 2-3 orders from the same client, and when there are, they are mostly group buys. These are not meant to be long term businesses. You get a hot item rake in sales 5-6 months and when you see the ROI drops, you switch niche/market, you are not building a brand here. but you get enough $ to make custom items, and then push out custom designs based on trends and shit, than you can get into branding, but F+S is definitely not a brandable niche.

Hi , I'm already making some money but not enough to cover yet because I do a lot of testing Non-stop.

So I don't say I'm making money but I'm use the money to increase more sales all from facebook ads itself

I'm following this thread and I decided to get into ecommerce myself. At this moment I don't have experience with exactly e-commerce and this method in particular, but having experience in some other things and being on this forum for a while, I would like to share with you some thoughts:

1. Traffic
Although paid traffic (FB ads, PPC, etc.) is a great way to get visitors to you site, but if you don't have money to invest at the start, don't limit yourself and go with free sources - social networks. There are loads of other threads how to sell through pinterest and instagram. The only drawback - it will take more of your time and effort if you don't have bots.

Btw, in addition to FB ads I saw few dropshippers advertise also on Instagram Ads.

Some of the dropshippers do special promotions on their pages on FB. They offer a "lottery", the winner gets a free item from your store. To participate in the lottery you have to leave a comment, tag 2-3 friends, share the post, like the post, etc. you choose what they have to do. This way you pay only for one item which will cost you only few bucks. But instead you get a good boost in facebook without spending on ads. The bigger your page is, the better results.

2. Prices
Someone above wrote that there is no way this can work. I did some research, and you know, one of the dropshippers sells sort of electronic devices for 25-60$ that on Ali you find the same for 5-10$. It's not even double price, it's huge mark up!! However he's got a good looking branded shopify store (but not the product!), with his own pictures, description etc. He's got ˜150k followers on FB, active. Gets a lot of likes and shares. I'm sure he keeps growing. He's got only positive reviews both on his website and facebook. Why wouldn't a happy customer come back if he was happy with his purchase?

3. Retention
In addition to the written above, you guys probably forget that you are collection emails from every single customer that buys something. Some of the visitors will optin without buying if you have an optin form and possibly will buy later. I see a huge potential in email marketing in conjunction with ecommerce. Special promotions, new merchandise added, national and international holidays - these are just the basic reason to send an invitational email to your list. Few of them will come back and buy again. And again. And again.

So in my opinion this model of the business can be viable long term as well. You have to approach it accordingly.

However of course having your own branded product is way better and has more potential. No doubts about that.

Also, what is good in email list, that even if you open the new shop or launch your own brand, you will already have the list of buyers that you can send an invitation to your new shop.

4. Free item+shipping vs. Free shipping worldwide
I will have to test it myself, but I believe if you will market a cool product to the targeted audience for an affordable price (˜10-20$) + free shipping, it will also be attractive. I believe this way you will have lower CTR, but you will not have so many carts left. Another good point is that you will get less complains "why does it take so long to deliver?" Cuz when a client signs up for free shipping, they don't have reason to complain.

This way also you will attract more of real buyers and not freebee hunters which is good for the future of your business.

5. When I was making a research, some of the shop were getting serious complains from the clients on their social network pages (literally few clients were spamming to death that that shop is a scam only cuz they haven't receive the item within 2 weeks), on other scam-busting websites. So that particular shop with about ˜200k now has pretty bad reputation overall. And I found the reason.

They claim in the "about us" section that they are a family business located in one of the biggest US cities and it makes you think that they have the warehouse also there. Since huge part of the clients are from the US, can you imagine, being in the US yourself you order a small item, pay for the shipping and it doesn't arrive the first week, the second, and on the third your start panicking. They also can't provide the tracking nr. cuz some of the retailers on Ali don't provide it.

So conclusion out of it is the following:
- Point out that you ship either from the manufacturer or from your international warehouse
- Be open and say that it may take few weeks time to deliver the order
- Point out that the tracking nr. is not always available

That's it for now. Now I'm going to build my own shopify store and apply everything that I just shared lol

P.S. Thanks to OP for the great guide!

While it's in trial mode can you take the store front password off? It is telling me I can't any work arounds?

Great guide. Just a question regarding pricing?

So say you have you're 30 products on your page...you don't set the price of all of them to 0 right?

While it's in trial mode can you take the store front password off? It is telling me I can't any work arounds?

Trial is for you to set up your store but once you're done Ensure that you choose a plan otherwise customer can't pay and you can't even see abandon cart because I did that on my trial and customer email me telling me they can't purchase check with shopify and realise if I do not choose a plan they can't let me have any sales

Lost around 30 sales on that day itself
