Winters come around, and if you're like me; you've found yourself with too much free time (again). Well worry no more because there's an exciting and not so new way to entertain yourselves during the cold season while also (hopefully) earning a profit. So put on some pants, turn off the pay-per-view and join the wonderful world of drop shipping.


What is dropshipping? Drop shipping is basically selling a product that you don’t have, and purchasing it once you sell it. Now, I’m sure there are thousands of sites where you can buy products and flip them for a profit, but due to time constraints we’re going to focus on one site in particular; AliExpress. This site is a great place to get started because it provides very unique products at a fraction of their retail prices.


So, how can you turn a profit from buying goods through AliExpress and selling them somewhere else? There are many different ways, but instead of listing them all here is the most common way:

You place orders as you receive the orders​

-In my opinion, this works the best and the benefit is that it requires little to no investment to start


a.) Find your products and create an online store to sell the products (An example of can be seen here – worldmarketmovement.com).


b.) Advertise EVERYWHERE. Take advantage of every advertising opportunity you encounter; whether it be on social media, email, newspapers, etc.


c.) Prepare to start receiving online orders from customers


d.) Once an order is received, go to AliExpress and purchase the product and have it shipped to the customer


e.) If you keep your store updated and running smoothly then you will be sure to see profits.

You can do this in autopilot with Oberlo, is an app of shopify.

I have a question, what are your time at delivery to for example Europe country's and US, and what about the policy of refunds?

It all depends on the fastest shipping option available. If it costs a few extra dollars to get something to a customer within 10 days, then I go with that option. Refunds are accepted, but the process is difficult (on my end, not the customers).

I'm testing my skills with social media at the moment, but as the store evolves i'm going to pay for advertising.

I'm going to do SEO as well. What I meant when I said winter business is that I'm spending the winter growing and developing it.
