Hi I really want to get into having a successful shopify store. I have chosen my niche as well as products. I want to start selling using Facebook ads. I know that this is where the investment comes in and I am.willing to put up some money but I would really appreciate an expert in this to help me out as I don't want to be throwing money away!! Thanks in advance.

Its trial and error my friend. No expert can teach you shopify. Also be prepared to spend lots of money on marketing, minimim $20 a day upto $500 day
 
I had a dropship store on shopify, depending on your niche you are either going to rake in cash or lose lots of cash, there doesn't seem to be a middle ground.

Bro noone is going to hand feed you. If shopify was earning everyone $100 a day dont you think more people would do it???

Its all about effort and marketing. Yes i have a shopify store and so far ive lost $187
 
Why is everyone all about shopify? does it replace the need for paypal? I haven't looked into it much, not sure if it would be worth using if I can create a professional looking store easily.

Hey man,

there are some things to keep in mind when starting with Shopify / Dropshipping / eCommerce. One of the most important factors is that it is not as easy as you might think. Right now it seems that everyone can make a quick buck with Shopify by just copy and pasting the techniques from some videos - this is definetly not the case.

A few weeks ago I made this video about the 4 common Shopify misconceptions that cause 95% of all store owners to not make any money (quality is a little bad though compared to the other videos)

Shopify and PayPal are two completely different things. One is an online store software and the other one a payment processor (that can be used inside Shopify).

I understand that, but shopify has it's own payment gateway.

Those aren't issues specifically for shopify or ecommerce marketers. Your video only talks about general problems people have with internet marketing as a whole.
 
What exactly do you need help with? Read my Shopify thread and you will get a good idea of everything and even after that if you have any questions just ask in the thread.

I was speaking about eCommerce in general at this point, but used "Shopify" because most of my subscribers and visitors use it. But you are right, it also adapts to many other things.
 
Shopify is real pain in the ass for non US citizens . I still cant find a payment gateway for my store
