Hello people!

I have read a lot of stuff about starting blogs and almost everybody says that the most important thing (or one of them) to rank in Google is to have unique content. It makes a lot of sense.

I have wondered if I could make a simple blog, monetize it with google adsense (and in a future with amazon affiliates) using translated content from English to Spanish. It wouldn't be copy+translate+paste because I would change a few things since I know enough of the topic to put my own words (although not too much to create content from 0).

Do you think it will work? For what all I have read in BHW, it should, but I'd like to know your opinion.

Thank you very much for your help!

Yes, it will work if you review the translated content, fix any mistakes and change it a little to look more natural and less auto generated.

After this check it for plagiarism and than publish.

Thank you for your answer! ;) Yes, I don't pretend to be lazy in this method. To put an example, I can spend 2-4 hours checking translations, adding my own "flavor" and this stuff. More if I take into account the optimization for SEO (although I am not even close an expert of this), adding new images and so on.

Could you recommend me a plagiarism checker? I have searched a few of them but maybe there is one which is "the best".

I do same but with Russian language. Good question

Привет artur241097! how is this going so far? Are you having success with the method?

If free go at smallseotools
If not try copyscape

Also look for above avarage articles. Because when you translate them their quality will go down. So make sure the quality of the articles are the highest possible.

The first one was the one that I saw. I will check the second one :). Yes, I try to search for high quality articles and if I don't like some section, I look for another better website or I even write it myself. Thanks again!

Well, it is good that you have already started to get impressions and clicks in Google. Best of luck with your project! :). Are you following an specific "journey/method" thread? I am thinking about making a journey about it. It could be good to keep motivation and get advices of other users... I will think about it.

What can one person do - anyone can do.

Yes, this method it's working . I am doing the same for some quality posts from my native language to english with good results.

This will work for sure. However, translators have a hard time distinguishing grammar from one language to another, so you may spend a lot of time editing the article just so it makes sense.

How are you planning to monetize from it? CPA? Heard that 3rd tier countries have a measly payout, I might be wrong

Since when have been using all this grammar checker etc have not seen anything meaningful from them but in order to get gud traffic and post.Search the net for a particular post or article and write with your own understanding with that your ranking grow like hell in some weeks,Guys let stop all this and create original article written by ourselves.
Note: it doesn't mean to write 20 post per day but write 2 post with original content

I was going to ask same thing. What a surprise!
I have scrapped like 17k blog post from a Non-English websites. All of them are in same niche. I just found out Big G translate does surprisingly good job translating that language to English. Here's my plan:
  1. Somehow, translate all of them to English.
  2. Use grammarly to fix minor grammar bugs.
  3. Register like 10 niche related expired domain with good DA PA values and clean history.
  4. Get a VPS. Install 10 Wordpress blog with SEO plugins and simple themes.
  5. Split and schedule all posts to 10 blogs. (CSV import might necessary)
  6. Connect them to each other. Something like a Blogroll might do the trick.
  7. Buy some backlinks and social media posts if it is needed.
  8. Monetize all the blogs with Adsense.
  9. Freaking PROFIT!
Every blog will have like 5 posts every day and 17k posts will be all done in a year. What do you think guys? What could possibly go wrong? What are pros and cons? Would you like to add anything to my plan? I'm kind of afraid Big G would ban my account. Let's do some brain storming!

When you want to translate, edit, format, check grammar (even grammarly) you have a lot to do. Just imagine, you can do one post in 5 minutes (what is very fast) you need to work 60 days without break to get this done. This is not really easy.

Well, by using some iMacros, it doesn't seem that difficult to me. If I can successfully translate all posts once, splitting and scheduling section will be easy. I assume I can do that in a week.

It will work, for sure! But, I would suggest try the babylon translator and translate just smaller pieces of the article. Like that, the quality is much better than you translate the whole article with google.
