Yay! I'll like to know if it's possible to get YouTube copyright strike by uploading movie trailers, even without monetizing them?

Of course. Anything that's copyrighted that you uploaded will most likely be hit.

Give it a try don't do it from your main YT account

generally youtube doesnt strike you for trailers unless you try to make money off with adsense but as the person said try it with an alt. account
