Title says all.
The last few days I read a lot about PBNs but I'm kinda new to it.
So, when you're scraping domains. What do you look for? PA,DA,TF?
Is there some kind of table which separates domains between gems and worthless domains?
I would be glad to hear some tips about how to measure the worth of a domain.

And another thing:
How important is the niche relevancy for a PBN? Let's say for example: An architect page links to my escort service money page.

And last but not least:
My money site is Czech and the domain ends on .cz
Is there a problem if the PBN links are all in english instead of Czech?

Thanks for helping me out! :)

Expired Domain has become a business these days , also expired domain can be painful. here some Tips before buying one. Check if domain is indexed. Check the anchor profile of the domain – too spammy means it would affect your current site’s anchor profile and possibly penalize it. View the site via archive.org and make sure it was good site. Spam/porn/hacked sites will probably do more harm than good.

IMO go with DA and TF,at this time these two things are really important.

I look for RD (referring domains) and TF.

Relevancy helps but it's not a must have thing.

Forget the TF / DA , look for backlinks profile and high Reffering domains

If I were you, I look for DA,TF and RD.Expired domains will rank easy but be aware of spam and history of domain before buying it.

Why do people think an expired domain should be indexed.

The hint is in the name ;-) "expired".

Google isn't in the habit of indexing sites that don't exist. After a few weeks depending on the age of the site it will be removed from the serps.

How often have you searched for something, clicked on a result and the site doesn't exist? If dead sites were kept in the index google would be a mess.

I'll go for TF, PA and RD and also the backlinks which should be a good quality. Also check the archive history if it clean or had been abused.

It's great if it is relevant to your niche but it's not a must.

I use TF as a first filter, then manually check the hisorical site on waybach machine to avoid spammy websites.

You can even replicate the old content is nobody else picked it up and build the BPN really quick, getting old the links and 100% link juice

You need to check few things before redirecting this domain

  • Verify that there is not Manual Penalty to this domain (Verify it through Google Webmaster Tool )
  • Check the back-links of domain if any. It might be victim of Penguin 2 & 2.1 (You can use ahref.com or Moz Explorer)
  • Check if domain is indexed
  • Check the anchor profile of the domain - too spammy means it would affect your current site's anchor profile and possibly penalize it
  • View the site via archive.org and make sure it was good site. Spam/porn/hacked sites will probably do more harm than good.

Not at all that you mentioned, but just the only factor : "BACKLINK PROFILEs"
if an expired domain have tons of do-follow and contextual backlinks from high DA authority websites -> it's a GOLD mine
Probably, backlinks shoud NOT be spammy (like contains: chinese, korean, japan; backlinks are hidden; ...)

With domain metrics it's like with women...

Everyone likes something different. Some people want high TF, some high DA, some high RD, some niche relevancy, some combination of two, some at least one authority link. Problem is, that there is no right or wrong. It comes down to what you personally prefer. Everyone has different experience and different preferences after all. So try it, test it and you will see what works the best for you.

Look at Trust Flow + Citation Flow. Website Archive, How much referring domains it has and also anchors ( no adult, no china )

I'd consider referring domains and TF as it shows how quality the links are pointing to the specific domain or website.;)

No! It’s not like that. Expired domains mean they are expired from hosting. After domains expired, they will remove all your site data from their servers. It doesn’t mean it’s lost the ability to index your posts. It will still index your articles if you post on that site. You shouldn’t be confused SERP with expiring domains.

But, remember most them let their blogs expire only after google penalized their sites.if you find any blogs with index ability in expired domains list, it means they might not have noticed that their domain is expiring or they gave up why they started websites.

You can check blogs indexed blogs with site:example.com. If that site is good you can see in the search result that where that site has been parked.otherwise you wouldn't see any information which means that site won't index any of your articles.

So much bullshit in this thread that I want to throw up.

Domains don't need to be indexed. Some expired domains have not been registered for years and there is absolutely NO reason for Google to keep them in the index, even though they are good. If people went only after indexed domains, then why even bother about their history? If the domain has clean anchors for example and is still indexed, then I personally wouldn't care that there used to be porn or asian PBN or whatever. There is no sign of that now. The thorough history check via archives, domain tools and hosting history is done to determine whether or not is the domain penalized and whether or not it will get indexed without issues again.

Sure, if you are buying from auctions, then I wouldn't touch anything that's not indexed, but that's a completely different story.

Sorry, but that's a load of complete and utter nonsense.

One of my businesses is finding, checking and selling expired domains. I also have built 100's of PBNs for myself with expired and auction domains.

Expired domains has nothing to do with "expiring from hosting".

And what's this stuff about "after domains expired, they will remove all your site data from their servers"? I don't think you understand how the Internet works at all.

There's no "they" removing anything from anywhere.

A domain has an A record, among other types of records, which points to an IP address. Your hosting/server is setup on that IP address. The 2 things are completely separate. Your hosting can be taken down without your domain being affected, or your domain can expire, but your hosting/site/data will still be live. The domain just won't point to it anymore.

It's not even worth disputing what you're saying. It just makes so little sense. You've clearly never worked with expired domains, pbns, or even regular websites by the looks of it.

Why you felt the need to respond to my post with the very arrogant "No! It's not like that." is a mystery to me.

Spend some time reading the forum and learning before trying to teach people about concepts you have no knowledge or experience in.

How do you plan to search expired domain you are about to use for PBN?

Just a quick question, if I have my own PBN can I use it to send backlink for a lot of money sites? Let say 30 money sites since the cost to maintain PBN also high. Thanks
