I need your suggestion. I got a expired domain this was live for last 3 years.

Here is the Statistics:

DA: 7 PA: 15
Spam Score: 0
TF, CT: 0

No Link indexed in Google, only the WP Admin Login URL.
No Backlinks found in Ahrefs and MOZ.

I checked with free penalty checker, Its OK. No Penalty.

Now Do you Suggest to Buy this Domain? My Plan is to build Amazon Comparison Review Site.

Please Expert Suggest Me.

Have you used Archive.org to see what kind of content was on there? If it looks clean, go for it.

Doesn't matter what's on archive. It's complete garbage.

If there's 0 backlinks in ahrefs, then it's just an empty domain. ahrefs is the biggest index we have access to.

Also, I see people talk about "expired domains and indexing".

Expired domains by very definition will NOT be indexed. Google doesn't keep 404'd sites in the index for long. You might see an expired domain still index if it just expired a week or 2 ago. Maybe up to about 6-7 weeks max, but it's not going to sit in the index for much longer than that while it's 404'ing.

The reason you check archive.org and the anchors is because you're trying to determine if it was a clean site or a spam site, ie, if there's a chance it was a site that was penalized/deindexed before it dropped.

It basically has *zero* juice. You could point 50 of them at your site and it wouldn't do much. You'd need 500+ at the very minimum, but even then I'd rather have 10 good expired domains rather than 500 of those.

Domain in the same niche means nothing.

Think about it. Do you really think what content was on a website 3 years ago has any bearing on the article and link to your site now? Google isn't keeping some history of content of a site, and giving you extra juice if there was matching niche content several years ago ;-)

The ONLY time you need a niche domain is if you're just doing 301 directs, but those are so weak these days. Why waste a good domain with a 301 redirect and get 10-15% of the power, when you can just put a site up, create a 400 word article and link to your site and get a juicy, max power contextual link?

It's entirely useless as a money site. In fact i'd even say it'll put you at a disadvantage. It has no backlinks, and the reason it'll put you at a disadvantage is because it might turn out it was penalized as opposed to a fresh domain which as well as having 0 backlinks, you know is clean.

Also, using expired domains as money sites isn't advised. Expired domains are great for a PBN, but for your money site you want a NON-EXPIRED domain. Ie, one that's been indexed continuously. Otherwise known as an "aged domain", but not just any aged domain, an aged domain with existing powerful backlinks.

Here's a fictional example of a good aged domain: It's never expired and is still indexed in google and has 145 backlinks, from 35 root domains, with a TF of 13 and a CF of 18, and the domain was the site of an ice cream shop.

One like that would give your money site a good boost and you could be more aggressive much earlier on with it because it's not a "new" domain, since it's been indexed for years.

Even with a domain in the same niche, a 301 won't give you anywhere close to the power you'll get from putting up a blog, unique article and a contextual link to your money site, and when you do that, the previous niche of the site means zilch, nada, zero, nothing.
