Domain is worthless, but a business can be worth something.

Unless your domain is actually high value domain (very popular with a lot of traffic) it is always worth nothing. NULL. It is just a name, if domain is not getting any traffic then it makes almost no sense to a buyer to pay a premium for a random domain (unless it is matching a brand that they would like to build).

Marketing and advertising costs will be the same, no matter if they will use axidar.com or axi-dar.com or axisdar.com or whatever.
