Engagement so high?

Hey guys!

I don't understand with my competitor have 45k fans on his Facebook page and he/she gets 2k plus shares and many thousands of likes.

If I look at real magazines in the niche that have over 1 million fans, they don't get that kind of engagement like the 45k page.

Do you think the 45k page is boosting their post with a good amount of money? How do you think they are getting so many shares?

Do you mean boosting the fb post like friends of friends... these are real shares.

A lot of people buy likes etc it encourages others to follow as no one likes to be the first to like or comment. It's the same as when you first set up a page, you seed it with likes etc to generate activity and so it snowballs from there

I agree with that. However, lets say you're boosting the post to friends of friends, your wasting money on people who will not even engage with your content. If you could buy real targeted likes then that would be beneficial. I don't think anyone offers that.

Yes you're right, I think only buying from facebook itself is the way to get that, but that gets expensive

Maybe I'm crazy... I spent thousands on real likes and it gets me real engagement. I only have about 15K likes and been getting a lot of engagement from real fans. One of my competitors has 45K likes and he/she is getting crazy engagement with good earnings. I know because the website was for sale on flippa with great earnings. They must be boosting the post or going the expensive way of promoting their page with real likes.

I would imagine they are paying a lot, I personally think facebook is expensive so I don't do it

Regarding engagement, is your competitor with 45k fans an outlier?

While comparing with the 1 million fans, it is well known that the more fans your page has, the engagement declines.

What about your competitor's content? How would you rate it? Is it really great, does it have a real tribe following? Are they using other social media networks?

Don't suppose every outlier is... a paid service.
