Shopify or a custom Wordpress site?

Hello,

I'm thinking about starting a dropshipping store from AliExpress soon and I just want you guys to help me out with some informations if you please.

If I wanted to use Shopify, will it be enough just to buy a plan and set up the store or I must buy other apps to manage the store??

And if I wanted to go with wordpress (I'm a developer so I won't have any problems with wordpress)
which are the plugins I will need to buy and add to my wordpress site in order to manage the store there?

The plugins I'm talking about are like the one that takes the informations of a product from AliExpress and adds it automatically to your store, and there's another one that orders automatically on AliExpress when a client orders on your store...

Please let me know what you think, and which are the plugins I'm going to need if I'm using either Shopify or Wordpress?

Yes I heard it's more easier but as a developer I will be able to set up a wordpress store too, do you have any ideas on that? like plugins that are a must to have in order to make it easier in wordpress too? Thanks

I don't know. I heard of woocommerce for WordPress so look into that

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Shopify. I ran several highly successful (6-fixures) online stores with it and also built some for clients. All in all, the price is absolutely ok for what you get (a ready-to-go, responsive and goodlooking onlineshop).

I also worked with WooCommerce, but I didn't like it that much. It is more flexible, yes, but I still prefer Shopify for the usability and the professionalism. Nonetheless, if you are a developer you can try WooCommerce. But Shopify offers customizations for developers as well (own themes, edit html/css, edit your store with the Shopify-language .liquid etc.)

Thanks a lot, shopify really is easy to use. But what would be the cost for me to start a niche store? like the plan I should chose and what are the apps I MUST have to make work easy for me to dropship from AliExpress with their costs if you can? I would appreciate that.
