in the Downloads section you can find some nice themes. I use Genesis framework for most of my sites. It's the fastest I used, plus it's easy to customize.

However the themes are easy to customize through wordpress widgets and other "Genesis Simple" (search in wordpress plugin database) plugins to remove footer links, meta... Plus, they load very fast.
