I've found myself with a pretty powerful domain, looking for opinions on how much it could be worth roughly.

It was the website of a dutch book selling company that re-branded and was left as a 302 redirect. Looking it up, it used to be one of the largest book companies in the country. I'm gonna reach out to some book companies in the Netherlands but have no idea how much would be reasonable to ask for.

Some more info:
- TF 30 CF 40
- DA 22 PA 35 (from just a small % of the links ahrefs shows)
- 1k Backlinks from over 100 Referring domains, some with pretty high authority
- Good do follow - no follow ratio
- .net domain with low character count in url
- diverse dutch backlinks & anchors
- been around for 15 years
- indexed, clean

Would be the domain only.
Thanks.

Why you think Dutch book companies would go for trademark domain (I am guessing) that used to belong to one of their competitors?

Good point about the trademark, didn't cross my mind. Shit.

Best to leave it I guess.

Why did the original book company abandon this domain?

They changed company / website and left the old one behind

If you use it to review their own books, I think it might fall under the fair use clause. Anyway they'd probably sue you, but it'd be an interesting legal case since they abandoned and since you're using it to review their books. I do know you're allowed to use a trademark and parts of copyrighted material if you are reviewing it.

best to stay clear of anything with trademarks in, i got into a lot of trouble with the Olympics over one word. Lawyers letters are never a nice thing to land on your doormat
