Crazy how I got a video post on my page viral. Before I posted the video, the page has 0 likes (I just made it today). Then after I posted it, I shared it on a group that has 173 members then logged out my account. After an hour, I checked it and I was amazed. The post is spreading so fast.

My question is: After I got those stats, my page only received 2k page likes. Is that normal? The post reached 1m as I type this so it's still spreading.

People watch it share it but 2/3rd of them don't like it or like the page, but your page gets visibility.

It's normal, yes.
I don't have that many views as you, but the video views/page like ratio is pretty much the same.
My ratio is 0.17 and yours is around 0.20... I guess that's just how it is on facebook videos, people like to watch a video quickly and scroll down fast.

well 2k likes is something you should be happy about, anyways you should think outside the box , you have a gem there .

Thanks for the input guys. Now I get it, organic likes are hard to get even if you have something viral.
Very lucky to get something going viral that fast.
I'd say it's 30% luck, and 70% quality. You just have to know your niche and your target audience. In my case, this niche is something I really love. That's why I know it really well.

Can you suggest something so I could somewhat "milk" this viral post and get likes from it?

Yes it's normal. Just use the 2k likes now to create more likes.

Is it your original video, or you have copied and posted someone video?
If the second, then how you did it unique?

Pretty nice. Just try to repeat with another vid.

Basically, I downloaded the video and then edited it(I made it funnier. You can see the picture, the "Haha" reaction is the top reaction).

Almost 1.6M post reach and just 2.7k page likes.

That's good but it can be better.

Try to add a comment to that post like: "Guys like our page to stay updated" and that comment would probably go to the top because you're the owner of the page... maybe it can increase the like rate a little bit. Let me know how it goes.

Yea I did that already before the post went super viral.

I suggest you to install facebook remarketing pixel in your website, try to drive your viral traffic to that website with your viral traffic.

You can then use fb ads to reach them again, very high chance they will like your page. Milk it bro :D

The page doesn't even have a website and I think a link post will get me nowhere because the post went viral because it's a video. As I mentioned, I posted it with 0 fans, I just shared it on a group that has 170+ members.

I don't want to use FB ads, I got no money to invest.
