Paypal steals $1k from me - Guy claims "unauthorized" transaction.

I had this happen a few years ago. Someone had paid me by paypal and didn't recieve their item within 15 minutes or whatever and got impatient. So, they file a dispute. I have a freakin DELIVERY CONFIRMATION from the USPS in my hand that I fax to them that shows it was delivered to them.

Did that get me anywhere?

Nope.

They gave them their money back.

Fucking people!

I have figured out a way to win in almost any dispute or reversal from scammers via Paypal. Chargebacks are another thing and I can't win those yet. But as soon as someone reverses on me or files a unauthorized dispute, I terminate their Paypal account. I have perfected a way to do this so they are not able to receive funds to their account anymore and not able to access their account either. After I kill their account I just sit back and let Paypal rsolve the case. They always resolve it in my favor afterwards because the other person's account is dead and cannot have funds put back into it ever.

How? Is this really possible?

What's the better alternative then?
Liberty Reserve?
moneybookers?

Same happened with me.. I took upfront 190$ payment for my services, delivered my service(100% perfectly done) and after receiving articles from me, my client claimed refund.
Result: I lost 190$ + my paypal has been limited for last 15 days.. I tried contacting them but to no avail..

Can you share with us how do you kill that scammer's PP account?

Why not just accept wire transfer for big amounts of money?

Woah... I thought I was the only one getting scammed this way. I have lost about 800$ thanks to Paypal's unauthorized transactions.

Ive lost around $600 in paypal charge backs once i was double charged back! The buyer opend a dispute won then called his credit card comapny and claimed money!

I now use money brookers when accepting big ammounts of money its much more safer.

Basically,

The recent ebay news regarding hacking incidents, perhaps you may contact them to clarify?

Paypal will most likely side with the customer on every single transaction if the customer declares a chargeback. Customer protection is more important to them than seller protection I guess.

I cant agree more, paypal is retarded i lost 200$ (not as much as many of you) but still, the person donates, 5 months later im not even using that paypal account anymore, it is blocked, but even tho the user manages to get a chargeback with the reason unauthorized payment and gets his money back, making my account going below 0, alright and my service for all those 5 months was for free?, well i guess paypal stole me!
