Here is what I do to get my articles indexed and get a ranking.
1. Write a long post.
2. Have keyword density max up to 4%.
3. Use media and infographics.
4. Check how much percent your post has plagiarised content. Rewrite it if it has less than 40% uniqueness.
5. Ping your post URL.
6. Fetch as google from google webmaster.
For checking plagiarised content and keyword density you can visit smallseotools . com but you can check upto 1000 words only. I find out one alternative website smallseo.tools which has 3000 words limit with no captcha or regisration required. It also has same tools as small seo tool .com one.
