Youtube and blogging are what I believe the best methods for making money online. Offcourse when we stay white hat. I have tried blogging before. But I'm not that good of a writer. I did make a few bucks, but the hosting and domain costs are way higher than what I earned. It's too hard for me to continue. I really don't like writing.

So I went with option 2 Youtube. No startup costs except for the equipment that I already owned for photography. This youtube thing is so much easier for me. My videos are very simple and not hard to make. I can make a week worth of videos in one single day and be done with it.

But just like with blogging you have to be patient and persist on continuing making vids. If you leave the youtube SEO aside you can see a very easy pattern.

More vids -> more views -> more subs -> more watch time -> higher ranking.

I know that my growth is not exceptional, it's actually very slow. But I'm glad with what I achieved so far. Making vids in english is very hard for me and when I look back at my first video I can see a very big improvement.

There's one video that really helped me out with motivating myself. This vid is called "The Truth About Youtube Money" by McJuggerBuggets (known from the psycho series). If you want me to link the vid, just let me know.

In this video there was one sentence that sticked and made me persist! "IF YOU WANT TO MAKE MONEY ON YOUTUBE, YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT YOUR JOB". This sentence sticks with me every time I'm not so in the mood to start recording.

So enough with the talk, let's get to the core. The past month I uploaded 45 videos. Here is the result.

I have a lot of vids around 1 minute.

What I think I need too improve for the next month:
- Upload 2 vids a day
- Make them longer for more watch-time
- Improve my english voice

that is so wrong though...
You're getting pennies for hundreds of views.
With selling something, you could be getting as much as $1 profit per each person that visits your site.

This is true. But I find it very hard to create a website, optimise it, get traffic and make them buy something. This is the best option for me, I have tried a couple of things before and this is the best day 1 profit for me without investment.

Youtube Incomr is for newbies. But yiu can use if you have a lot of traffic.
So,It would better to run your website.Using some better keyword and some tricks you would get more ttraffic to your site. And you could redirect them too Youtube.

Website + Youtube - 2X income ;)

If you're doing viral content it will always be junk change money.

However I know a guy in the fitness industry that was making $30k profit a month with 50000 subscribers. Not off ad revenue, off creating specialized meal plans and workout routines which he sells.

Now he's at 92000 and God knows how much money he's making.

this is really my sole interest in youtube. if you can manage to build a fan base, the sky is the limit. loyal fans will support people they like till the end.
im considering
youtube channel -> push your own products -> huge profits
only hard part is figuring out the niche since you have to be able to make tons of content on it

You should read Neil Patels journey. Within 12 months he builds a site that makes $100k revenue monthly from scratch. (nutrition blog) It's not YouTube related but the exact same principles can be used. You seem like you're hungry for the money yourself so I think you can succeed.

I am doing also youtube (with cc videos) and it is also connected to my site. You can use annotation in your highest traffic videos or in all, to drive traffic to your site. I am also making earnings like that. But since I am doing this only like 2 months or so, I think there can be still a lot of potential. I am trying to build a bit social accounts and connect them also to my youtube. What I also want to try is Patreon and see if it can give me some income, too.
I also use amazon links. I receive clicks, but no purchases at all xd.

Good luck. I'm also going to use amazon links down the line. Need to grow a bit more first. I'm excited for the next month, I'm growing faster every day.

Good luck with your journey mate. I also tried YouTube once, and it's still making me money without working anymore. Try to make engaging videos of 2-3 minutes minimum.

YouTube + Blogging marketed the White Hat way will give you long term results when it comes to earning. Patience is the key. If you consistently post useful videos, you'll surely reap the fruit of your labor. Try to find a niche on YouTube that is not too crowded, it will help.
